Abstract:This article first gives an introduction of virtual reality technology, its systematic structure and Virtual Reality Model Language (VRML).Then, it analyzes the topology structure and puts forward a preliminary solution project based on Web database, it also proposes to set up three - dimensional virtual reality laboratory with VRML technology. Finally, it describes its significance in distance education.
