ANALYSIS OF FACTORS IN THE ADSORPTION OF SOYBEAN ISOFLAVONES FROM SOY WHEY WASTEWATER

Abstract:Experimental research and theoretical analysis showed that, due to the great complexity of the adsorption material solution, the adsorption and separation of low-content soybean isoflavones from soy whey wastewater would be affected by a lot of factors. In the system, whey soy proteins, soybean oligosaccharides and soybean saponins would badly influence the adsorption process because of their different reasons. Based on analysis and experiments, a Two-Stage Adsorption process was worked out, bringing out soybean isoflavone product with purity of more than 42%, and the recovery ratio of soybean isoflavones in this process was above 75%.
