Clinical Application of Laparoscopic Partial Cholecystectomy in 32 Cases

Abstract:Objective: To explore the indication, operative techniques and clinical value of laparoscopic partial cholecystectomy. Methods: The data of laparoscopic partial cholecystectomy performed in our department in recent 4 years were analysized retrospectively. Results: Laparoscopic operation was performed smoothly in all 32 patients without severe complications such as postoperative hemorrhage, jaundice and extra-hepatic bile duct injury. Bile leak occurred in 1 case and infection in ports of abdominal wall in 2 cases. All these complications were cured by conservative treatment. The average duration was 65 min, (69±27) min, and the mean postoperative hospital stay was 5 d, (4±2) d. No long-term complication took place in 3～12 months' follow-up. Conclusions: Only if indication is strictly controlled, residual parts of gallbladder are correctly disposed of and drainage tube of abdominal cavity is placed as a rule, laparoscopic partial cholecystectomy is a feasible operative technique with advantages including safty, tiny trauma, less complications and rapid recovery, deserving clinical application.
