Abstract:Class library can support software reuse effectively. This paper discusses how to create and manage class library and model library in the object-oriented tool kit. For the particularity of the class, we discuss the storage and infrastructure of the class library, givemethods for retrieving, extracting and authorizing the reuse class. Model library supports large taxonomy model reuse. We also discuss how to design it, and based on it, the model evolution management was proposed and added in the object-oriented tool kit. JadeBird objected-oriented software development tool kit (JBOO2.0) practices the above research successfully.
