The operation model, system structure are studied and the theory to realize the system function is also given. With the net programming technology, the prototype system is successftilly developed, furthermore, the key techniques are discussed. Finally the effect of the system is testified.

Abstract:A new method is presented to solve the open architecture problem and to improve the reliability of CNC system by using software reuse and component technology in this paper. At first,the feasibility of developing CNC system with software component is discussed, and the conception of CNC software components and the integrated and normative description of the component are also offered. Under this condition, this paper introduces a method for the analysis of reuse and the common principles that should be followed in the process for developing CNC systems with software component technology. Then the steps for developing software CNC system is described from the points of view of a developer and a consumer respectively. In the end,an example demonstrating the specific implement of this kind of thought is shown. This method is proved to be effective by developing a prototype example.

Abstract:Motion control card is usually an important part of CNC system. Information integration of Web Services is essential; the key technologies of motion control card integration are studied. The unified interface for integration of motion control card and CNC is discussed. The concept of version space and the method to shorten the version space have been proposed. The application experiment of motion control card based on Web Services is accomplished. The result is helpful to motion control integration between CNC system and different platforms and reconstruction.

Abstract:In this paper, a soft CNCS (Computerized Numerical Control System) works on Windows-XP operating system is presented. The comparison between soft CNC and traditional CNC system is discussed. The structure of soft CNC system is introduced as follow. The realizations of each real time module, such as real time path planning and interpolation, real time close-loop controller, real time safety detection, are introduced in detail. The real time tasks are based on a real time kernel. In the end, an application of the soft CNC system is realized on a 3-axis milling machine. The machining result shows it works well.

Abstract:This article introduces the principle of remote serial communication by RS-485 series interface and the corresponding hardware configuration which can fulfill the communication function of the system. This system achieves the communication modularization of the CNC machine tools. At the same time, in order to ensure the reliability in the transmission, contraposing the problems possibly appeared in communication procedure, some rational resolvents are given in order to keep the data transmitted exactly. The system adopts the advanced language VC and assembled language to implement the communication programming design between PC and single-chip microcontroller.

Abstract:To realize the interoperation and integration in CNC, a CNC programming model is illustrated. According to CNC function, CNC system data structures are studied and function models based on XML Schema are established. The CNC network programming technology is studied, and the CNC software system includes three layers: Web Services requester, Web Services provider and Web Services monitor, thus a CNC programming model based on XML Web Services is established. Web Services in CNC application and equipments are studied. By experiments, the programming model based on XML Web Services is proved to be effective in trans-platform and trans-regional seamless integration and collaborative operation of numerical control equipments.

Abstract:Object-oriented technology is used to study the CAD/CAM system of super CNC glass carve center in this paper. Based on a successful development of the CAD/CAM system on the OS of WINDOWS, Modular organization in the CAD/CAM system and the detail process of figure forming are presented. It has been proved that the developed CAD system of glass carve robot that is accurate and effectively , and is very successful by a great deal of practice.

Abstract:This paper mainly focuses on designing an open CNC system. At first, the advantages and disadvantages of the three popular open numerical control technologies were discussed, and on the basis of demands analysis, this paper chose motion controller plus PC as the whole system model. Then, according to the system model, this article designed the hardware system for the control system, including choosing multi-axis motion control card, servo motors and their drivers. Thirdly, based on the features of this open numerical control system, the paper designed and put the software into three levels, namely low level of control software, mid-level of communication software, and high-level of management software respectively. Finally, in order to test the control performance of this open numerical control system, some experiments were carried out on a two-dimension motion platform, the results are satisfactory and error analysis on these experiments is also given out.

Abstract:The technologies of mechanical computer aided engine ering(CAE) can reduce the time of products,so they play an improtant role in enhancing competitive power of products.But most of traditional CAE technol og ies have not exploited their advantages,because they are limited in environment of single machine of local area network(LAN).In this paper,an Internet based remote manufacturing analysis server system is presented,which combines traditi onal CAE and Internet technologies,provides an environment of design and ana lysis of mechanical products for remote users.In this system,real-time display o f products model on the net can be carried out with Java and VRML language.W ith ASP,ADO,SQL and ODBC technologies,the authors built knowledge-based remote query system for common technologies about mechanical industry.WebCRP technology is applied to realize network computing,which can share computer res ources and transfer some computing tasks.

Abstract:CNC machine tool plays a vital role in intelligent manufacturing, but up to now, CNC controller, which works as the “brain” of the machine tool, is just a loyal executor of machining command without intelligence. This paper is aimed to improve the intelligence of CNC controller from the aspect of machining process planning, which has a great effect on product quality and production efficiency. A STEP-compliant data model is adopted. Compared to previous STEP-NC controller, this paper presents a new paradigm to integrate the ability of autonomous process planning into CNC controller based on cloud knowledge base. A hierarchical and modular architecture is designed to obtain machining process planning from cloud knowledge base timely and to conduct the machining implementation on shop floor. Furthermore, efficient and matching operation mechanism is researched. It offers a proposal to use cloud knowledge to implement intelligent manufacturing. Finally, a case study is demonstrated to verify the feasibility of this intelligent CNC controller.
