China′s Producer Services Convergence Quality:An Empirical Analysis based on DEA Cross Efficiency Evaluation Method

Abstract:Producer services is one of the new forces to promote economic growth , and it shows convergence of manufac-turing industry and service industry in the essence .Based on the illustration of convergence evolution mechanism and sta-tus in producer services , this paper applied DEA cross efficiency evaluation method to evaluate China′s producer services convergence quality from 2004 to 2011 , and to evaluate 27 provincial regional convergence quality of producer services . The result showed that China′s producer services convergence level has been improving , and the convergence quality shows upward trend , among which strategic emerging producer service sector has higher convergence quality ;there exists significant difference in regional convergence quality , and most regions of China need to improve the convergence quality .
