Determination of Baicalin in Fufangpuqin Tablets by HPLC

Abstract:Objective To establish a HPLC method for determination of Baicalin in Fufangpuqin Tablets. Methods HPLC Hypersil C18 (5μm, 200mm×4.6mm) was used and CH2OH-H2O-H3PO4 (47∶53∶0.2) as mobil phase. The flow rate was 1.0mL/min, the column temperature at 40℃ and the detective wavelength was set at 280nm. Results Baicalin showed a good linearity in the range of 0.193～0.965μg (r=0.9998). The average recovery was 98.28%, RSD was 1.75%. Conclusions The method is simple and accurate with a good reproducibility. It can be used for the quality control of Fufangpuqin tablets.
