Abstract:Emotional elements are closely related to bronchial asthma. The diseases caused by emotion are always associated with the liver, and the syndrome features include emotional upset and dysfunction of pivot, depression and stagnation of qi and stagnated phlegm invading lung, stagnated qi transforming into i re and wood-i re impairing metal, wind formation from yin dei ciency and the bell ringing due to wind syndrome, and disharmony of yin and yang, cold-heat jumble and intermin-gled phlegm and blood static. Only by distinguishing the particular aspects of seven emotions, dif erences of zang-fu viscera involved and the trends of syndrome evolution and development can we have insight into the essential characteristics of the disease mechanism, block the interactive links. Emotions concordance and harmoniousness of qi movement of upward, downward, inward and outward make sure asthma relieves naturally.
