Abstract:The paper first discusses the similarities and differences of Sino-US during the macro-economic imbalances or the recession with China's current macro-economic issues as the focus and then reviewes the policy-related characteristics of the two countries when dealing with the macro-economic problems.The two countries have one thing in common,i.e.insufficient domestic demand and shortage of driving force for stimulating economic growth.America's essence of insufficient domestic demand lies in lack of demand for investment while China's insufficient domestic demand is caused by shortage of actual consumption and development funds for small-medium sized enterprises.American economic crisis was transmitted from financial institutions to entity economy and the financial crisis gave rise to economic crisis while China has a different transmitting mode,from entity economy to financial institutions.U.S stimulates domestic demand by increasing money supply because the banks and enterprises are in need of money while China must take into consideration the monetary policy transmission mechanism.Therefore it's time for China to speed up the pace of deepening market reforms.
