Abstract:Objective:To discuss the mechanical features,application principles and clinical value of anterior fixation techniques for thoraco lumbar spine and compare the diffrence of Kaneda Divice,ATLP(Anterior Thoraco Lumbar Locking Plate) and AO Ventro Fix.Methord:36 cases of spinal fractures,tumors and intervertebral disc diseases treated by anterior fixation techniques(including 16 cases of Kaneda device,14 cases of ATLP and 6 cases of Ventro Fix) were followed up and summarized.Result:Among 36 cases,31 cases were followed up from 3～79 months and the treatment result was clinically satisfied.No complication caused by implants has been founded.Conclution:Anterior fixation techniques of thoraco lumbar spine provided important clinical value for treating some kinds of spinal fractures,tumours or disc diseases.The stabilization of spine could be reconstructed in early stage by these fixation techniques.The comparing results have shown that ATLP and Ventro Fix has the advantage of simple assembling,less operation time and less blood lost.
