Abstract:Large-scale, complication,high-speed and continuous production are the characteristic of equipments of petrochemical, once faulty happen enormous economic loss will be made, even casualty will be caused, environment will be polluted. So it is very important to ensure equipment to work safely and reliably. This paper take example for boiler which is wide application. Under the condition that essential event distribution style, parameter and happen probability are known, system qualitative analysis and quantitative compute are made by use of fault tree analysis, minimum cut sets and importance are calculated, the weakest part of system is found, the time for preventive maintenance is decided.
