Enhancement Mechanism of Membrane Separation by the Membrane Motion in Sine Way

Abstract:A new means to enhance the process of membrane separation is provided.By this means,high shear stress on the membrane surface is achieved by the membrane motion at the speed of Asin(αt).The expressions of its velocity and pressure are deduced from Navier-Stokes equation on the basis of laminar flow.The velocity expression demonstrates that the phase of membrane velocity does not synchronize with that of shear stress,and it is the main reason why this means can save the energy in high shear stress process.This means can produce the performance of self cleaning on membrane surface,make the enhancement energy focus on the membrane surface where is most needed to be enhanced,let the fluid have the flow instability.The pressure expression demonstrates that the pressure can make the fluid pulse.
