An analysis of 10 cases with acute extensive portal venous system thrombosis

Abstract:Objective To analyze the causes,diagnosis and treatment of acute extensive portal venous system thrombosis.Methods The clinical data of 10patients with acute extensive portal venous system thrombosis were retrospectively analyzed.Results All cases in the early stage of thrombosis were treated with medication for anticoagulation and thrombolysis,of whom 7cases had good results and 3cases received surgical treatment afterwards.All patients were cured and discharged form hosipital.Conclusion Acute thrombosis of the portal vein system has complex causes and should be treated with medications for anticoagulation and thrombolysis in the early stage.When the patients appear the signs of peritonitis during treatment,surgical treatment should be taken decisively,which is followed by anticoagulation and thrombolysis.
