Abstract:One of the key study of anesthetic feeding service is to ensure anesthetic concentration level the same as expected within human effect compartment. The target controlled infusion (TCI) system based on pharmacokinetication is a doable method for it, and the realtime closed-loop anesthetic feeding system based on BIS can fit this expected purpose. This thesis puts forward a design project and implementation of the anesthetic feeding system.

Abstract:The rising of scale swine farm and lag of excrement and sewage disposal make the pollution of environment more and more seriously; Therefore, how to settle the problem has being a hot gambit. It is possible that improve animal's nutrient utilization efficiency and decrease excretion quantity of animal metabolic ordure through methods of nutrition. But the excretion quantity of animal ordure is still greatly overtopped endurance ability of environment. So it may be strengthened overall disposal of ordure. The article mainly reviews the recent general situation of feces and sewage treatment and reutilization on intensive scaled swine farms.

Abstract:Under special working conditions, a meshed board at the entrance of the feeder was designed and set to quantitatively control the flow of a superfine material with special properties. For a given aperture size and vibration acceleration, the relations between material flow, flow time and vibration frequency were studied by experiments. And the effect of the dynamic characteristics of the electromagnetic switch on the quantitative controlled material flow was analyzed theoretically. Based on the results of experiment and calculation, a design project of automatic feeder that can realize quantitative control of material flow was designed.

Abstract:To determine the protein digestibility of enzymatic hydrolysis feather meal in vitro and explore the effects of dietary feather meal replacement of fish meal on growth performance and protein digestibility in growing pigs.The gastrointestinal environment was simulated in vitro,protein digestive test of hydrolysis feather meal and enzymatic hydrolysis feather meal were conducted for measurement of digestibility by pepsin-trypsin hydrolysis method.A total of 135 growing pigs were randomly divided into three groups with three replicates,the control group(3 % of the Peruvian fish meal group),the test group Ⅰ and Ⅱ(50 % and 100 % feather meal replacement of Peruvian fish meal by crude protein content).The results showed that protein digestibility of enzymatic hydrolysis increased by 15.38%(P <0.05) compared with hydrolysis feather meal in vitro.In the group of 50% and 100% feather meal replacement of Peruvian fish meal,the average daily gain and average daily feed intake were not different significantly to the control group(P>0.05);feed conversion ratio and protein digestibility were also not significant to the control group(P >0.05).Combination of production performance and economic analysis,the 100% feather meal raplacement was the best.There were practicality and feasibility to practice of fish meal replacement with enzymatic hydrolysis feather meal in the production.

Abstract:The invention relates to the field of livestock breeding technology, which specifically relates to pigling forage for promoting growth. The forage is prepared by the following raw materials by weight: 80-90 parts of yellow corn, 15-18 parts of rice bran, 15-18 parts of soybean straws, 18-20 parts of soybean meals, 12-15 parts of vinegar residue, 6-8 parts of fish meals, 2-3 parts of stone flour, 3-4 parts of duck egg powder, 10-12 parts of barley malts, 4-6 parts of dried ginger, 2-3 parts of brown sugar, 4-5 parts of Allium macrostemon, 8-10 parts of pea sprouts, 8-10 parts of beets, 6-8 parts of potato seedlings, a proper amount of salts and 4-5 parts of feeding promoting agents. The pigling forage prepared by the invention has the advantages of easy digestion, good palatability and high forage utilization rate; syrup boiled by dried ginger and brown sugar can improve appetite of pigling and enhance physique; the forage provided by the invention can provide sufficient nutrition components, obviously increase weight of pigling and improve breeding benefit.

Abstract:The transition to digital, intelligent production technologies and robot-based systems is one of the priorities of the scientific and technological development of Russia. The extensive use of information technology and electronic automated systems is the basis of an intelligent manufacturing execution system that replaces a person, especially for objective and precise control over the quantity and quality of feed given to animals. Modern genetics has achieved a substantial increase in the number of piglets per litter, which does not allow a sow to fully meet their biological needs with her own milk. To preserve the health and high performance of all piglets born, effective and economically feasible methods and technologies are needed. The objective of the research was to analyze the efficiency of applying the components of precision pig farming in piglet feeding when using the feeding systems for suckling piglets CulinaCup and CulinaFlexpro. Their application has a positive effect on the growth and survival rate of suckling piglets due to proper and timely feeding. The systems meet all sanitary and hygienic standards and ensure efficient raising of piglets in large litters.

Abstract:Over the last 27 years (1990-2017), based on the revolutionary progresses of basic nutrition research, novel methods and techniques have been developed which bring a profound technological revolution to pig production from free-range system to intensive farming all over the world. Basic theoretical innovations and feed production studies have provided vital advancements in pig nutrition by developing formula feed, utilizing balanced diets, determining feed energy value, dividing pig physiological stages, enhancing gut health, and improving feed processing technique. Formula feed is the primary contributor of the rise of the mechanized farming industry, and meets comprehensive nutritional needs of the pig. The focuses of the development of a balanced diet by optimizing nutrient levels are the amino acids balance, the balance between amino acids and energy, the balance between calcium and phosphorus. Multiple-site-production and targeted feeding program have been applied extensively. Early weaning of piglets improves production efficiency, but piglets that have not yet fully developed their intestine are prone to diarrhea. Therefore, intestinal health has received special attention in recent years. Feed processing technologies, such as granulation, puffing, fermentation and enzymatic hydrolysis, can improve the utilization of feed nutrients and reduce production cost. However, increasing a sow's potential for production, seeking alternatives to antibiotics, reducing drug treatment in piglets, developing functional additives and improving meat quality remain future challenges. Herein, we outline the important progresses of pig nutrition in the past 27 years, which will shed light on the basic nutrition rules of pig production, and help to push forward its future development. © 2018 Society of Chemical Industry.

Abstract:This paper proposed a supplemental feeding pusher based on beef cattle's auxiliary feeding needs to solve the traditional feeding mode of manual work, labor intensity, and inconsistent manual work standards. Firstly, the conveyed feed particles movement process was established as a motion model and the basis of the design parameters of the screw conveyor was explained. ANSYS static analysis module was used to ensure that the structural parameters of the discharging device were reasonable, ANSYS vibration modal analysis module was used to verify the frame strength and stability. According to the theoretical design of the trial prototype, the control system with STM32F103RE microcontroller as the core was carried out. Finally, the orthogonal test was conducted with the screw shaft speed, sweeping roller brush height, and traveling speed as test factors; different parameters were set to verify the effect of supplemental feeding and pushing, and parameter optimization of the test results was carried out using Design-Expert software. The optional combination of working parameters was determined to be the feeding screw shaft speed 188 r/min, the sweeping roller brush speed 160 r/min, and the work speed 0.26 m/s. The test demonstrated that the residual feed width was 0.73 m, and the transverse coefficient of variation was 14.9%, which could satisfy the needs of auxiliary feeding for beef cattle. This study reduced feed waste and met the cattle feeding needs to the greatest extent, and it could provide a reference for auxiliary feeding machinery.

Abstract:Ecological pig-raising systems (EPRSs) differ from conventional breeding systems, focusing more on environmental consequences, human health, and food safety during production processes. Thus productions from EPRSs have undergone significant development in China. Thus far, adding plant fiber sources (e.g., sweet potato leaves, maize or wheat straw, potato, alfalfa, and vinasse) to feed has become a common practice to reduce the cost during the fattening period. Under such a context, it is necessary to choose the precision EPRS diet components and fattening period with low environmental consequences and high economic benefits. This study set up a database via pig growth models to predict environmental and economic performance based on two trials with 0%, 10%, 40%, 60%, and 80% maize silage (dry weight) added to the feed. A continuous curve about plant fiber concentration was built through the generated database. Our results showed that, with increased plant fiber concentration, the environmental performance of the EPRSs exhibited an "increase-decrease-increase" trend, and the economic performance firstly increased and then decreased. The best maize silage added percentages of emergy yield ratio (EYR), environmental loading ratio (ELR), unit emergy value (UEV), and emergy sustainability index (ESI), and the economic profits were 19.0%, 34.3%, 24.6%, 19.9%, and 18.0%, respectively. Besides, the 19.9% sun-dried maize silage added to the feed with a 360-day raising period had the best balance for environmental impact and economic performance. At the balance point, the performances of EYR, ELR, UEV, ESI, and the economic profit were only 0.04%, 3.0%, 0.8%, 0.0%, and 0.1%, respectively, lower than their maximum values. Therefore, we recommended the feed added 20% sun-dried maize silage is suitable for practical pig raising systems.

Abstract:To investigate the effects of low-dose compound organic trace minerals (Fe, Cu, Mn and Zn) on growth performance, serum trace mineral contents, antioxidative indexes and fecal trace element excretion in fattening pigs with different trace element feeding backgrounds,a total of 192 Duroc×Landrace×Large White pigs with similar body mass [(61.2±4.4)kg] and identical parity were selected and divided into four groups with four replicates each (12 pigs per pen) in a 2×2 factorial design.The first factor was feeding background(backgroundⅠ:commercial dosages of inorganic Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn were fed to suckling pigs, nursery pigs and growing pigs;background O: organic Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn at 50%, 30% and 20% commercial recommended levels were fed to suckling pigs, nursery pigs and growing pigs, respectively), while the second factor was dietary treatment [inorganic trace mineral (ITM): basal diet+inorganic Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn of 100, 20, 25, 100 mg/kg, respectively;organic trace mineral (OTM): basal diet+organic Fe, Cu, Mn, Zn of 20, 4, 5, 20 mg/kg, respectively). The feeding period lasted for 82 days,with 38 days for early finishing stage and 44 days for late finishing stage.The results showed that: 1)The feeding background and dietary treatment both had no significant influences on the growth performance of fattening pigs (P>0.05) during the whole period. 2) The OTM diet increased the Zn content (P<0.05) and Mn-superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity (P=0.05) in the serum of fattening pigs at early finishing stage, and decreased the malonaldehyde (MDA) content (P=0.05). 3) The OTM diet significantly reduced the Fe, Mn, Cu and Zn emissions (P<0.05) in manure during whole phases; while the background O significantly decreased the Fe emission at the early finishing stage and Fe,Cu,Zn emissions at the late finishing stage in manure (P<0.05).The background O and OTM had an interaction (P<0.05) on reducing Fe content in fattening pig manure at the late finishing stage.The above results indicate that the addition of low-dose organic trace minerals in the basal diet can significantly reduce the heavy metal emissions in the fattening pig manure,and improve antioxidant level of growing-fattening pigs without affecting its growth performance; while feeding background at early growth stages can also significantly influence the heavy metal emissions in fattening pigs.

Abstract:78 hogs were divided into three groups,control group(blank),experimental group 1(neomycin 115mg/kg,quinoline 100mg/kg,arsanilic acid 100mg/kg),experimental group 2(physiological amendment JX 0.2%).The results showed that in the first period the final weight of experimental group 1 was 1.34kg heavier than that of the control group and the weight of group 2 was1.07kg heavier than that of the control group(P0.05).The difference between the experimental groups was not significant(P0.05).In the second period the final weight of experimental group 1 was 2.65kg heavier than that of the control group(P0.05) and that in experimental group 2 was 3.23kg heavier than that of the contrel group and the difference was obvious(P0.05).The difference between the experimental groups was not obvious(P0.05).The ratio of feeding to meat of the two experimental groups was lower than that of the control group,group 2 was 0.2 lower than that of the control group,which was the lowest.The feeding conversion rate raised 8.97%.The profit for every hog in group 2 was 18.8 RMB higher than that of control group and 10.28 RMB higher than that of group 1.The content of nitrogen and phosphorus in soil decreased obviously in group 2.There was no medication remaining in group 2 and the control group.In group 1,the positive liver had three plus sign and the positive meat had one plus sign.

Abstract:Iron is an essential mineral element of animals. Iron from milk can not satisfy the normal requirements of piglets. Unless other effective ferrous supplement methods, piglets are inclined to occurrence of anemia and many other diseases. Compared to inorganic or simply organic iron, amino acid chelated iron has such virtues as higher bioactivity, lower pollution and higher safety. This paper will focus on the absorption mechanism, bioactivity, relations with other mineral elements and application effect of amino acid chelated iron.

Abstract:With the rapid expansion of the market and the increase in pig farming density, improving the automation and intelligence of pig farms has become key. Despite continuous progress in this field, there is still a lack of intelligent systems for cleaning and disinfecting pigs. In this paper, we conduct research from the perspective of product functional requirements. By conducting research to obtain raw data on user needs, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to conduct a hierarchical analysis of user needs. The demand indicator system for the intelligent washing and disinfection integrated system of pig farms is summarized at three levels: goals, criteria, and indicators. Combined with competitor analysis and literature research methods, we obtained the operative words for the design requirements. Using Quality Function Deployment (QFD) to convert user requirements into performance indicators of product design, a quality house model for the product is constructed. We next analyzed the requirements of the intelligent washing and disinfection integrated system for pig farms in terms of functionality, usage, safety, and appearance, and this completed the conceptual design. Finally, we improved the mechanical structure of the mobile nozzle, supplemented the automation control system relied upon for nozzle movement, and enhanced the scientific and rational design. This study provides new ideas for the research and development of intelligent equipment in pig farms, promoting the development of intelligent and precision farming.
