Abstract:A framework of multi-objective processing and analysis of ASTER data for urban environmental analysis was proposed at first, and related key techniques were discussed. Five levels of multi-objective information processing were discussed. The first level is visualization-level combination, in which the simple combination of results of different objectives is used for visualization or better representation. The second level is coefficient-level combination, and it aims to derive some new parameters by the combination of results for different objectives. The third level is collaboration-level combination, in which the output from one process is feed into the other processes and to improve the performance. The fourth level is association-level combination with the aim of finding those association rules among the results of different processes by statistics and data mining. The fifth level is collaboration decision-level integration, and this level aims to monitor, analyze, manage and protect urban environment by integrating above data, rules, parameter and models. The multi-objective processing and analysis of ASTER data will bring more benefits for urban environment Remote Sensing applications than ever, and this framework and related information processing methods could be used to other fields further.
A Study of Remote Sensing Monitoring of Urban Thermal Environment Based on ASTER Data

Abstract:According to the Characteristics of the ASTER data,the authors calculated the atmospheric transmittance using the MODIS data from the same satellite,and then obtained the surface emissivity by means of the classification result on visible and near-infrared bands as well as the spectral library supplied by JPL(Jet Propulsion Lab).After that,the Land Surface Temperature(LST)was estimated by the split window algorithm.On this basis of LST retrieved from ASTER data,the authors analyzed quantitatively the urban thermal environment in Cangzhou area using the LST,the classification results and the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI).These results can provide a certain scientific basis for the further exploration of the developmental rule of the urban heat island,the simulation regulation and the control and optimizing configuration of the urban thermal environment.
The Study of Object-Oriented Classification Method of Remote Sensing Image

Abstract:The object-oriented classification method of remote sensing image takes the characteristics of the imaging spectrum and differences in geometric characteristics into account, which can extract more accurate image information. Regard Cangzhou City in Hebei Province as the study area, and ASTER remote sensing image as the data source, first of all, the study area has been multi-scale segmented. It can determine the best optimal partition scale and parameters according to different types of ground respectively, and then makes use of the nearest method to object-oriented classification research. Finally evaluate classification accuracy of the classification results via confusion matrix; what's more make the method compared with the traditional pixel-based maximum likelihood classification results. The results have showed that the results of object-oriented classification effectively avoid the "salt and pepper phenomenon", and the accuracy of overall classification is 91.5486%, Kappa coefficient is 0.8990, both are higher than the overall accuracy of the maximum likelihood method which the accuracy of overall classification is 61.5134%, and Kappa coefficient is 0.4986. So it has very good application prospects in classification application of ASTER data.

Abstract:With rapid development of the remote sensing technology,massive data of remote sensing images has been generated.In order to have effective management and use of these data,massive image management and visualization system are designed.The extended object-relational database to organization and management remote sensing images is used,and the optimization method is given to solve the efficiency problem of massive data displaying.Finally an application case is given.It is proved that the system in this paper can reduce the difficulty of massive remote sensing image data management and is better to meet the efficient visualization requirements.

Abstract:Astronomical observational data are the fundamental element for modern astronomical researches. However, with the rapid increase of astronomical data, the traditional centralized retrieval methods are hard to meet the requirements of high-performance data retrieval. In the study, we present a novel method which is based on the ElasticSearch distributed retrieval engine and River mechanism to create data indexes, and provide high performance data retrieval for massive FITS (Flexible Im-age Transport System) data. We discuss the key technologies of the nearly real-time retrieval and query. The experimental results show that the method is capable of ob-taining high retrieval performance especially for the cases in which the number of the FITS data exceeds millions or even tens of millions. Meanwhile, the method can be easily integrated into the current astronomical data archiving systems, and completely meet the archive requirements of all kinds of astronomical telescope systems.

Abstract:The current status of commercial software, which realizes data preprocessing in enterprise is presented first, and two kinds of data preprocessing arithmetic, are put forth. Faced with a steam turbine factory, we expound the actual problems, difficulties and adopted corresponding measures during handling with millions of data accumulated in the past 30 years in this factory. At last, the advantages and disadvantages of two kinds of arithmetic are analyzed, whose running and application in the corresponding computer systems are illustrated.

Abstract:With the development of computer technology and aerial and space technology, remote sensing monitoring has been become a simple, fast and high effective monitoring method, and extensively being used on geological prospecting, environmental monitoring, weather forcast and agriculture. It achieve considerable success. Because of hyperspectral resolving power, extra-multi-band and large information capacity, hyperspectral remote sensing is a powerful means used to observe the earth and the key of moden remote sensing, and has a widespread application prospects in agriculture. Hyperspectral data (especially differential hyperspectrum) are correlate to leaf area index (LAI), leaf chlorophyll density (CH. D) and other biochemical contents such as protein and so on. It is introduced on the difficult problems, present and future of hyperspectral remote sensing in agriculture in this article.

Abstract:Marine remote sensing (MRS) data provide an important tool for advancing global change research. However, the existing product service practices are insufficient for meeting the needs of a full-experience online application. This paper introduces a framework named SatANA, which is unified by a data tiling method with a spatial-aware feature, for integrated and intelligent improvements in visualization, storage and computing. The SatANA framework is supported by a hybrid database storage ideal for the cloud storage of massive MRS data. The raw data are displayed and roamed on a virtual globe through the Internet as tiles, enhancing their spatial awareness, that can be intelligently used for visualization result tuning, data storage preloading and distributed computing optimized indexing. To verify its feasibility and effectiveness, we applied this framework to a platform called SatCO2, which is devoted to providing convenient access to and the efficient utilization of MRS data.
Decision Tree Based on ASTER Image Classification and Its Application

Abstract:The autuors present a decision tree based method for an easier and more accurate land-use classification using apparent reflectance values derived from ASTER images.The method starts with the correlation analyses among ASTER bands so that the optimal bands composite is found for best visual interpretation.On the derived image,apparent reflectance values represented,emphasis is paid to the analysis of the spatial and spectral characteristics of various land-use types.Spectral profiles of several typical land-use types are extracted.A decision tree model is established based on given thresholds of the apparent reflectance values.With the model the classification is then performed,associated with an accuracy assessment.The procedures are applied to ASTER images from Beian municipal region of Heilongjiang Province,Northeast China.The classified results show that the decision tree method facilitates the classification effectively.One shortcoming of the method is that some wrong classification may occur in areas where mixed spectra of different land-use types exist.

Abstract:Diverse storage formats, archive dispersal, and inconsistent naming make it difficult for researchers and the general public to find and access remote sensing data. To facilitate the use of remote sensing data, this paper provides an integrated framework for direct reading remote sensing data in a widely compatible and analysis-ready format, NumPy ndarray. The framework is composed of two main components. One is the raster data processing and storage model. All the operational gridded remote sensing data are split into tiles, and reorganized in n-dimensional array. Then the N-Dimensional data array is serialized into netCDF and stored into distributed file system. The other is the spatiotemporal filter to achieve parallel query, and it has been encapsulated into Internet-accessible application programming interfaces (APIs). The scenario of calculating NDVI of a specified spatiotemporal range given at last illustrate the efficiency and convenience of our platform provided for remote sensing data analysis.

Abstract:Abstract With the continuous advancement of digital informationization, the agricultural field has naturally entered the era of big data. At present, big data technology has achieved remarkable results in the Internet industry, but it is still in its infancy in the agricultural field. Due to the complexity of the agricultural field itself and the obvious diversity and heterogeneity of data, the agricultural Internet of Things in the big data environment is facing many difficulties and challenges, especially the collection and storage of massive data. The purpose of this article is to study the application of agricultural big data. This article briefly introduces the background of the development of agricultural big data and the significance of developing agricultural big data, and summarizes the meaning of big data. At the same time, this article summarizes and analyzes the major applications of agricultural big data in production process management, agricultural resource management, and agricultural ecology environmental management, agricultural products and food safety management. In the experimental part, this paper designed and implemented an agricultural big data system platform based on Hadoop. This article simulated the query of 10, 100 and 1000 records respectively for 10,000, 100,000, 1 million and 10 million records, and the average response time was 56ms. The experimental results show that the performance of the agricultural big data platform designed in this paper can meet the needs.

Abstract:Big data with its vast volume and complexity is increasingly concerned, developed and used for all professions and trades. Remote sensing, as one of the sources for big data, is generating earth-observation data and analysis results daily from the platforms of satellites, manned/unmanned aircrafts, and ground-based structures. Agricultural remote sensing is one of the backbone technologies for precision agriculture, which considers within-field variability for site-specific management instead of uniform management as in traditional agriculture. The key of agricultural remote sensing is, with global positioning data and geographic information, to produce spatially-varied data for subsequent precision agricultural operations. Agricultural remote sensing data, as general remote sensing data, have all characteristics of big data. The acquisition, processing, storage, analysis and visualization of agricultural remote sensing big data are critical to the success of precision agriculture. This paper overviews available remote sensing data resources, recent development of technologies for remote sensing big data management, and remote sensing data processing and management for precision agriculture. A five-layer-fifteen-level (FLFL) satellite remote sensing data management structure is described and adapted to create a more appropriate four-layer-twelve-level (FLTL) remote sensing data management structure for management and applications of agricultural remote sensing big data for precision agriculture where the sensors are typically on high-resolution satellites, manned aircrafts, unmanned aerial vehicles and ground-based structures. The FLTL structure is the management and application framework of agricultural remote sensing big data for precision agriculture and local farm studies, which outlooks the future coordination of remote sensing big data management and applications at local regional and farm scale.

Abstract:With the rapid development of remote sensing technology, spatial information is exploding. For current remote sensing data storage management system, their data volume, rich data sources, query retrieves slow and other issues are problems to be solved. This paper then proposed a remote sensing data organization scheme based on GeoSOT. By firstly adding a GeoSOT code column which is array format in relational database, spatial information in the metadata can be stored and logically subdivided, in order to achieve unified storage and retrieval of image data space area. We compare our method with Oracle platform by simulating worldwide image data. Experimental results show that the retrieval efficiency of this article has obvious advantages and can effectively improve the integration of remote sensing data, retrieval efficiency. Our approach also offers a more effective storage management program for existing storage center or management system.
Study on ANDVI and Its Application for Airborne Remote Sensing

Abstract:Considering the spectral difference between airborne remote sensing images, the characters of information extraction on afforestation and principles of vegetation index construction, a new adjustable vegetation index, airborne normalized difference vegetation index (ANDVI), was promoted in this paper. Further, a set of flowchart of afforestation information extraction was developed according to the characters of ANDVI. Still, the new approach was applied to estimate vegetation index in Shanghai city and a satisfactory result was obtained. The application shows that ANDVI is suitable to airborne remote sensing and it is effective to eliminate non-linear disturbance of reflection caused by some factors. ANDVI provides a reliable way to extract airborne remote sensing information and estimate ecological-environment parameters based on vegetation indices.
