First, we analyze the key constituents in the supply chain management from multi-agent and single agent's perspective. Then, a general negotiation model according to negotiation features of the supply chain is presented. In the model, we design a flexible protocol and analyze the agent's decision model.

Abstract:Based on global sourcing circumstances, 166 transnational enterprises are proceeded questionnaire survey for the effects of supply chain relationship capital on cooperation performance, and Hierarchical Regression Analysis is applied to analyze the empirical research. The research reveals the stronger tie strength, network centrality, degree of confidence, and information sharing between enterprises and suppliers, the higher cooperation performance to create win-win for both buyer enterprises and suppliers and reinforce the international competitiveness of enterprises.

We applied the activity-Based cost analysis method to analyze the cost of the distributor, introduced the function between the demand and the price, and then developed a profit model of the distributor. Abstract:In this paper,we consider a supply chain with a supplier,a downstream buyer and a financial institution,where the supplier is facing financial constraints.We construct a multi-stage decision-making model with or without accounts receivable financing,respectively.After our analysis,we get the expected profits of participants in the supply chain in all stages.Through numerical analysis,we further research the values of the supply chain financing with accounts receivables to supply chain members and the entire supply chain.Our work shows that,small and medium suppliers without financing couldn′t produce in succession,but could when they get accounts receivable financing,and they also could produce optimal production in a shorter period in a fast-growing market.When there is supply chain financing,the buyer may achieve sustained earnings growth because he receives continuous supply,and he benefit more from accounts receivable financing when the seller has more initial capital.The financial institution gets large financing income when the seller has less initial capital,but he will gain less benefit when the seller become strong enough.The small and medium suppliers,buyer and financial institution all benefit from accounts receivable financing.

Abstract:As environmental issues become the focus of global attention, low-carbon economy based on the concept of low energy consumption, low pollution, and sustainable development is becoming the focus of global attention. This new trend brings new challenges and opportunities to supply chain management. In view of the current new trend, each node enterprise in the supply chain should have the dual compatibility of economy and environment. How to balance the profits of supply chain nodes is an important issue for traditional enterprises under the guarantee of environmental benefits and green supply chain management. This paper takes the green transformation of enterprises as the breakthrough point, combined with the comparison of three green supply chain models. Considering the different preferences of enterprises for environmentally friendly goals, a green supply chain model is constructed when manufacturers and retailers consider different goals. This paper discusses the impact of environmental preferences of manufacturers and retailers on the supply chain system. It is found that when the manufacturer's environmental preference is 1, the supply chain profit of the biobjective model is up to 1901. The results show that the model can achieve the dual optimization of the profit target and environmental friendly target and achieve the effect of green supply chain optimization.

Abstract:A supply chain with a Third Party Logistics (TPL) service provider involved is studied using game theory. The factor of logistics service level is considered to see the effect on the supply chain's total profit. In addition, the profit allocation problem is also discussed in the paper. Then we find out that, when supplier, retailer and TPL use the collaborative decision-making strategy, the sales volume will increase, the logistics service will be improved and the total profit will rise too. With a reasonable allocation method, supply chain members will cooperate actively to realize the Pareto improvement.

Abstract:AbstractCross-shareholding has played an important role in strengthening strategic synergy among enterprises, but its impact on the green development of enterprises is unclear. In this paper, we construct an analytical framework that includes a manufacturer and a retailer to explore the impact of cross-shareholdings under different leaderships on green supply chain operational decisions and profits, in which the manufacturer invests in green technologies and the retailer conducts green marketing. By constructing and solving the game model of manufacturer-led and retailer-led before and after cross-shareholding, it is found that after cross-shareholding, the product’s green level and the retailers’ marketing level are improved. For supply chain leaders, cross-shareholdings always increase their profits. Only when the follower holds the leader’s shares no more than a certain value, cross-shareholding will increase the total profit of the supply chain. In addition, we obtain the optimal decisions and profits of the supply chain in the integrated situation and design two-part pricing contracts to achieve cross-shareholding supply chain coordination. The results of this paper can provide theoretical guidance and decision support for enterprises interested in using cross-shareholding to improve supply chain performance.

Abstract:The need for environmental protection and increasing demands for natural resources are forcing companies to reconsider their business models and restructure their supply chain operations. Scholars and proactive companies have begun to create more sustainable supply chains. What has not been fully addressed is how organizations deal with short‐term pressures to remain economically viable while implementing these newly modeled supply chains. In this study, we use theory‐building through case studies to answer the question: how do organizations balance short‐term profitability and long‐term environmental sustainability when making supply chain decisions under conditions of uncertainty? We present five sets of propositions that explain how exemplars in green supply chain management make decisions and balance short and long term objectives. We also identify four environmental postures that help explain the decisions organizations make when dealing with strategic trade‐offs among the economic, environmental and social elements of the triple‐bottom‐line.

Abstract:Under the background of today's times, the internal and external environment of enterprises is complex and changeable. It is of great significance for the survival and development of enterprises to continuously reduce the business risks and improve the economic benefits of enterprises by adopting scientific decision-making methods. CVP (cost volume profit) analysis is a model established by sorting out variables related to business decisions in enterprise production through mathematical modeling. Based on the interpretation of cost behavior by multiple cost drivers, this paper establishes a dynamic CVP model of traditional CVP analysis, breaks through the limitations of original assumptions, and improves the application value of CVP analysis in practice. The model is applied to the business decision-making and financial management of a case enterprise, and the products with different characteristics of the enterprise are modeled and analyzed, so as to provide targeted improvement suggestions or strategies for the enterprise's product production decision-making. The research shows that the dynamic CVP model can be used to formulate the financial management strategy to optimize the profits of enterprises, and it can achieve stable profits and development in the market competition.

The Impact of Supply Chain Partnership on Firm Performance: an Empirical Study Based on Listed Manufacturing Companies in China

Abstract:Today, Supply Chain Management (SCM) is regarded as an essential strategic factor, which has a great deal of influence on earning competitiveness in global business environment. There are conflicts among all members of the SCM. In order to maximize the total profit of the SCM, negotiation among all members is necessary. For enterprise in the supply chain, the supply chain partnership has become a significant factor affecting firm performance. In this paper, I examine the impact of cooperation between enterprise and its supply chain partners. Specifically, I collect survey data from Chinese manufacturing firms about their relations with partners and use regression analysis to test hypotheses about the associations between firm performance and supply chain partnership. My results support that superior supplier partnership has a positive impact on reducing transaction costs and improving financial and market performance. In additional test, I establish a series of models with interactive terms. The results of additional test indicate that the impact is enhanced if the competition of each sub industry of the manufacturing industry is different. Above all, I put forward the following suggestions. Enterprise managers could establish an evaluation mechanism of suppliers and retailers, which select high-quality cooperative partners and reduce low-quality transaction costs for enterprises. When participating in business operation, shareholders could comprehensively understand the business conditions of various supply partners and choose reliable supply chain partners for investment. Also, the government can guide the realization of resource sharing and information exchange among supply chain enterprises, which is beneficial to create a more competitive supply chain to promote economic development.

Abstract:A supply chain comprised of one supplier and one retailer is analyzed,in which the members game in two periods;each period prior demand distribution and realization of the demand are of the same distribution,furthermore,in the second period demand distribution can be updated over time via the information of realization of sales in the first period.The research results are as follows: Firstly,in the centralized system,the best strategy of the system is to explore long-term strategy.Secondly,in the decentralized system,the best strategies of the members are to explore long-term strategies together if and only if production cost per unit is smaller than a certain value;the composition of the retailer's short-term strategy and the supplier's short-term strategy exists if and only if production cost per unit is larger than a certain value.Furthermore,in the buyback system,the system's optimal decisions depend on the strategy of the retailer rather than that of the supplier.Lastly numerical analysis is used to analyze the profits of both members in decentralized supply chain.

Abstract:A key issue in supply chain design for manufacturing firms is how to make a trade-off between the degrees of vertical integration.This paper studies this issue by a single period supply chain model with one supplier and one manufacturer.For the manufacturer,all the components needed for building the final product are divided into two classes:core and non-core.For the non-core components,the manufacture can either in- vest in building its own production capacities so as to promote the ratio of backward integration,or rely on out- sourcing to an upstream supplier.The manufacture's optimal strategies on integration and outsourcing are first investigated,and then the impacts of such strategies on the performance of the manufacturer,the supplier and the whole supply chain system are analyzed.Finally several ways to improve and coordinate the supply chain are discussed.

Abstract:This paper studies the cooperation and profit allocations of the supply chain mainly with the method of cooperative games,and the supply chain is composed of multi-suppliers and a single-retailer.For the ineficiency of the profits reach under the competitions of the supply chain-members,the total and local part of members can achieve higher profits through cooperation.We provide the feasibility of the large-coalition,and present a corresponding stable profit allocation.Only if the retailer remains in the coordinative coalition,all members of the supply chain and the supply chain as a whole can make more profits.

Abstract:Corporate social responsibility (csr) adoption is gaining increasing prominence as a strategic imperative for enterprises seeking to drive transparency, collaboration, and sustainability through their supply chains due to its perceived importance. This paper undertakes a qualitative analysis of peer-reviewed academic literature and industry reports to examine the linkages between measurable csr policies. This helps in deducing means for supply managers to control ethical sourcing, supplier codes of conduct, and social audits and resultant performance improvements across interconnected supply chain entities due to followership of acceptable socially conscious activities. Henceforth, the analysis provides a valid view that integrative csr priorities propagate positive transformations. The transformation refers to improved vendor relationships, logistics, and distribution networks. Those are achieved through enhancing climate resilience, reducing risks, and enabling cost efficiencies. The csr actions, however, need to be structured by mechanisms around supplier capability building, compliance enforcement, and monitoring systems, which are uncovered as vital framing elements allowing csr commitments. However, equitable integration frameworks across entities with varying maturity levels require additional investigation.

Abstract:This paper starts from the analysis of the definition of supply chain, and compares the traditional cost management mode of Chinese enterprises with cost management mode based on supply chain by the method of comparison. The paper points out that the cost management based on supply chain, which aims at the improvement of customers' satisfaction and the market demand orientation, is a wholly new cost management method. This new management mode demands an effective coordination between upstream and downstream enterprises, and an extension of space and time of cost management from traditional workshop to the fields of development, design, supply and distribution. In the cost management strategies based on cost management, systematic planning and the integration of supply chain are the premises of success; the application of information technology is the guarantee of success; dynamic managed supply chain is an effective way to success; and the customer oriented target cost management technique is the priority of cost management.

Abstract:This study provides data analysis support for the entire enterprise procurement management process, thereby improving the management effectiveness of supply chain operations. It analyzes upstream and downstream industry market status data in the supply chain and various primary data in enterprise management activities. By utilizing the Delphi method to screen and verify multimode market status data indicators, which significantly impact upstream and downstream industries in multiple rounds, 28 types of market status data were selected for analysis. This analysis aimed to investigate the effect of supply chain management on operational decisions within the company. The data reduction method based on adaptive statistics was the most effective in revealing the market status and promoting efficient operation decision-making based on supply chain management. This study also suggests a brand-new technique for measuring supply chain performance based on the Levenberg-Marquardt Back Propagation (LMBP) algorithm, offering a more impartial manner of doing so. The performance evaluation results showed a maximum error level of less than 0.4% when paired with empirical analysis. The proposed optimization model provides strategic guidance for optimizing supply chain management and improving overall performance.

Abstract:Different dominant advantages affect supply chain performance. This paper discusses four types of two-stage supply chain model under Stackelberg game by revenue sharing contract, considers a new parameter and enriches supply chain models in theory. Comparisons of reorder quantity, game process, different enterprises’ interests and total profit of supply chain are made, based on the equilibrium and each member’s profit. The result shows that whether the leading enterprise is supplier or retailer, as long as having absolute advantage, can the leader maximize its own profit, while achieving global optimization of the supply chain.

Abstract:In a Big Data environment, in order to study the decision-making problem of Big Data information investment and the effects of using Big Data information to improve industry cost on supply chain coordination, firstly the importance of Data Company in supply chain was analyzed, and the original supply chain model was built. Meanwhile, some changes of consumer behavior were analyzed in a Big Data environment. Based on these, the market demand function and the benefit model of stakeholder were built and analyzed. Findings: ( 1 ) The first finding is whether an enterprise was suitable for gaining Big Data to improve its costs, which was determined by the cost improvement coefficient; namely, it was related to the ability of excavating and using the value of Big Data. ( 2 ) Whether the supply chain was the decentralized decision-making and the centralized decision-making, the thresholds of acquisition costs on Big Data information were equal. Moreover, the maximum value that they could undertake was same. ( 3 ) Meanwhile the fact that the quantity discount contract could achieve a win-win outcome for supply chain members was proved. The discount coefficient was related to consumers’ behavior preference in a Big Data environment.

Abstract:Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to review a sample of the literature relating to the financial impacts of supply chain management (SCM) and suggest future research directions. Design/methodology/approach – 49 research articles between 1990 and 2011 are collected from various academic databases and online sources. By conducting content analysis, empirical findings on the relationship between SCM and firm-level financial performance are summarized and classified. Performance drivers are identified from the literature to guide future SC practices. Findings – Both accounting- and market-based financial performances are closely related to the effectiveness of SCM. As important performance drivers, sourcing strategy, information technology (IT), SC integration, and external relationships play critical roles to improve firm-level financial performance. In particular, optimal levels of outsourceability, SC alignment and integration with IT infrastructure, and SC relationship management are essential to realize full financial advantages of effective SCM. Practical implications – A better understanding and demonstration on how SCM makes positive contributions to financial performance help SCM managers to better communicate with top management and substantiate their roles in the organization. Originality/value – To the authors' best knowledge, this paper is the first and the most comprehensive literature review in a much-needed research area. A number of performance drivers are identified to provide practical guidance. Some promising research areas are suggested for further investigation.
