Between the Behavior of the Strategic Leadership and the Effectiveness of Organizational Operation: the Intermediary Role of the Organizational Culture

Abstract:There has been no conclusion for the long-term argument about the effect of the strategic leadership on the results of the operation of firms (TLBOTSL). By means of a case study, we have, in this paper, probe into the impact of the leadership behavior of the strategic leadership (LBOTSL), in the reality of China, on the TLBOTSL and examined the role of the organizational culture. The results of our study show that (1) the LBOTSL, such as the elaboration of the future desired, the pioneering spirit, the spirit of innovation, the interpersonal communication, the supervision of firm' s operation, and showing solicitude for their subordinates, has positive effect on the attitude of employees and the TLBOTSL, (2) LBOTST S showing solicitude for their subordinates and the supervision of firm s operation of the LBOTSL is positively related to the values of the internal integration of the organizational culture, the above-mentioned elaboration and spirits is positively related to the values of the external adaptation, and the interpersonal communication has positive effect on the internal integration and the external adaptation, (3) through the values of the internal integration and the external adaptation, the LBOTSL impacts on TLBOTSL, that is to say, through the attitude of the employees, the LBOTSL has positive impact on the TLBOTSL.
