Abstract:Technique of SSR marker was summarized from the aspects of types and genetics of SSR loci,principles and advantages of SSR technique,and development of SSR markers. The literatures on the applications of SSR markers to germplasm studies on Chinese bayberry were reviewed to provide some useful information for related studies.
