Abstract:Twenty four apple cultivars and 60 F1 hybrid seedlings derived from 3 different crosses were used as material for identifying the SSR markers related to the skin color of apple fruit.All SSRs located at the LG9 of the current apple genetic map were screened by bulked segregant analysis(BSA)and a SSR marker,CN444542156,which linked to red/ non-red fruit skin was acquired.This marker was recessive on the red phenotype and dominative on the non-red phenotype.Further analysis on the whole F1 population showed that the correct rate of forecasting was 93.3%.
