Abstract:With the development of the computer technology and digital signal processing technology, virtual technology has become popular. Application of virtual technology in control domain is called virtual device. To verify the effect of the controller, on the basis of system model, the virtual device with approximate input-output characteristics is employed for the system's real-time simulation, achieving the aim of reducing on-spot debugging, enhancing controller's security and improving effect. This paper presents hardware and software designs of a virtual device using DSP chip-TMS320F240, TI Com. and verifies the simulation effect of virtual device through application example.

Abstract:The DSP(Digital Signal Processor) have got extensive application in the realtime control system because of its rapid instruction processing.This paper proposes a means of controlling the floopy driver based on the TMS320LF2407 of the TI Corp., provides the circuit architecture of the floppy control system, and develops the software with C language . The system completes all kinds of functions of the floppy and the file access function based on the FAT12 file system.

Abstract:An audio signal processing system based on DSP is introduced.The system adopts TI's low power consumption DSP TMS320VC5509A as the main processor,and TLV320AIC23 as the audio codec chip.Therefore,the system's hardware platform and software design are completed based on them,which can be used as a universal platform for other audio signal processing.The paper expounds in detail the method of interface that connects codec chip with DSP.At last,it provides an example of data transmission based on DMA interruption,which upgrades procession speed largely.

Abstract:In order to compare the application of Digital Signal Processor(DSP) and System on Programmable Chip(SOPC) technology in the field of electronic design,the schematics of the hardware circuits as well as the software flow chart of implementation schemes are respectively given by the method of Tailor progression and DDFS technology.The Sine signal generator is achieved by integrated development environment CCS and DE2 development board.The experimental result indicates that SOPC has much more high speed operational ability and flexible internal operation than DSP,and that the Sine signal generator designed by SOPC has better application value because it is characterized by convenient control,continuous output phase,high precision and good stability.

Abstract:Traditional development tools using assembly language takes a long time to accomplish the real-time control program. This paper presents a new platform for control system based on Matlab-DSP integrated development environment. The process of system design, simulation and experiment could be conducted smoothly in one integration platform. The hardware is based on DSP C2000 and the software based on the Matlab-DSP development environment needs to build the module and create custom device drive modules according to the hardware. Algorithm researchers can apply Simulink tools build Matlab algorithm, and then RTW (Real-Time Windows) can automatically generate code for DSP C2000 board.

Abstract:A TMS320LF2407A-based serial communication system was developed to realize communications between digital signal processor(DSP) and other controllers.This system employed an Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter(UART) module and a Serial Peripheral Interface(SPI) module to connect the DSP to a host PC and a client display peripheral respectively.Detailed principle and method for hardware design were introduced;communication programs and relative software structure were given.Communication experiments showed that the system was simple in circuit design and stable and accurate in data transmission.It has reference value and practical benefit to exploit communications of DSP system.

Abstract:According to the characteristics of TI' s stereo audio codec chip TLV320AIC23 and combining the applications of digital signal processing and embedded system, a hardware interface circuit consisting of TLV320AIC23, TI' s DSP chip TMS320VC5402 and Samsung' s ARM chip S3C4510B is designed. The interface control programming is accomplished through ARM' s I~2C interface. DSP exchanges data with AIC23 through its multichannel buffer serial port and accomplishes the processing of audio signal. This system is practicable in sound codec processing, voice recognition and sound controlling fields.

Abstract:A signal processing experimental system has been developed using DSP and FPGA to realize various signal processing algorithms, such as filtering, MTI, module calculation, CFAR and so on. The real-time characteristics and effects of the system are validated and analyzed. This system can objectively evaluate engineering value of various algorithms, and has become special equipment for validation and analysis of algorithms in radar and acoustic signal processing. This system is comprised of DSP, FPGA, dual channel high-speed A/D and D/A, and can process serial and parallel input signals; and the processed signals can be output in serial and parallel modes. System hardware, software architectures and experimental results are introduced in this paper.

Abstract:The digital signal processor(DSP) performances highly in data processing and was widely used in embedded equipment.As the core,it cooperates with lots of peripheral devices.The DSP chip has limited I/O ports and should focus on data processing,so a controller was designed utilizing complex programmable logic device(CPLD) to realize the coordinated control of peripheral resources,which accomplishes a data processing unit with data storage,communication and reset logic.This unit was applied to an ultrasonic converter to ensure its accurate sampling and data rapid processing.

Abstract:The authors first analyse the development of application-specified DSP, and then propose a configurable DSP, CmDSP, aiming at the field of media processing. Based on independent media instruction set, CmDSP uses SIMD technology and is implemented with acceleration units, including complex multiplier and algorithm specified co-processor. In addition, it has a dual-cluster structure and VLIW architecture. CmDSP is implemented using SIMC 0.18 μm Digital Logic library, and instruction level tests are completed in test board, along with the realization of several media applications, which indicates that it can satisfy the engineering demand in this field.
