Abstract:To lower the cost of brushless DC motor controller,designed a new speed control method using hall effect position sensors to provide speed measurements which can work without a high resolution encoder.A fuzzy logic controller was used to fix the system's instability and poor performance of speed adjusting,both of which were caused by the uneven speed sample rate.This method was simulated on computer by Simulink software.A sewing machine control system was also designed employing this new method using TMS320F28027 digital signal processor.The result of experiments showed that system worked stably and effectively.

Abstract:This paper aims at providing a system design of high-power bidirectional DCDC converter for electric vehicles application. Based on previous power-stage design, this paper focuses on control stage-design. The control loop consists of PWM loop and PFM loop to achieve high efficiency compared to traditional PFM only; The control mode consists of power-on mode and normal mode to achieve less overshoot when powering on. Functional blocks level, circuit level, and layout level designs are presented to illustrates the structure and operating of control-stage, especially the control core. Simulations of control IC design in SMIC180nm provide basic function and high performance verification.

Abstract:In this paper,a new hybrid speed regulating method based on Fuzzy-PID was proposed.It can be used in the speed loop for speed and current closed loop control DC motor control system.When the error between reference speed and real speed is bigger than some threshold value,uses the fuzzy control.But when the error reduces to the threshold value below,changes the PID adjustment.The simulation research on the hybrid speed regulating system of DC motor was carried out.The simulation results show that the system based on this hybrid speed regulating has better dynamic and static performance than the system based on PID speed regulating.A speed control system of DJ23 DC motor used in DDSZ-1 electrical machinery and electrical technology test installation was introduced.The system based on this new hybrid speed regulating method has a control unit of the single-chip Atmega128,using PWMcontrol signal to control DC motor.The results of experiment show that the system is of better robustness and strong practicality and simple structure.

Abstract:In order to simplify mechanical structure of the cycloidal propeller and reduce mechanical components wear,a new control system of cycloidal propeller was designed.Step motors were used as the control mechanism of cycloidal propeller.The ralationship between the rotaing angle of the plate which blades was mounted on and the oscillating angle of the blades was modeled.By means of the model,the number of pulse for controling the step motors was obtained.These pulses made the controlled oscillating angle of blades accorde with the theory value.The result of simulation experiment demonstrates that the control system of cycloid propeller based on step motor works well and meets the control requirements of cycloidal propeller.

Abstract:Abstract In order to improve the operational strength and control precision of the DC motor, a double closed-loop control system based on TAIXIN TX8C1010 MCU is proposed. The single chip is based on a high-speed 8051 core, which is applied to home appliances and can realize the double closed-loop motor control algorithm. The given speed value provided by the potentiometer is compared with the real-time speed value and inputs the error to the speed loop function, which is based on the incremental PID algorithm, to calculate the reference current value. Then it is compared with the real-time current value and inputs the error into the current loop. The PWM signal duty cycle is determined by the output value of the current loop to adjust and stabilize the motor speed. The drive circuit outputs the PWM signal in the inverse amplification way to control the operation of the DC motor, and finally tests the function on the MAGTROL M-TEST7 motor test platform. The test results show that the control system has fast response speed, strong load capacity, good robustness and safety. Hence, TAIXIN TX8C1010 single-chip machine is feasible in the DC motor control. It can be improved to strengthen its load characteristics according to the parameters and applied to a variety of power DC motor control.

Abstract:Asynchronous motor has an extensive application in manufacture. The efficiency is quite low when the motor is running under the rated load. Dynamically adjusting the terminal voltage of the motor according to the change of the load can greatly reduce the consumption, and thus improve the efficiency. This paper provides design of the soft start energy-saving controller of motor, which can be used in energy-saving, soft start and running protection. The controller needs a low cost in hardware, but the function is powerful. This paper proposes the software and hardware design scheme of the controller.

Abstract:In order to reduce the cost of the industrial sewing machine control system,an optimized design scheme with hardware and software is proposed.Mature,reliable and cheap components are selected in this system.The control system of the industrial sewing machine is a hysteretic,time-variant and nonlinear system,which is difficult to control accurately by traditional double-closed-loop PID control algorithm based on a precise model of controlled objects.The key to the point is that the system parameters cannot be adjusted timely when the controlled objects are varied.Aiming at solving this problem,a kind of complex Fuzzy-PID controller is designed.Experiments show that this control system has characteristics of fast start/hold,good rubustness and precise positioning.The new system has been applied in industrial sewing machines,which is quite satisfactory.

Abstract:This paper describes the design of a bipolar pulse-width modulation (PWM) dc motor speed control system, using Microchip's PIC16F876 micro-controller as the system control circuit, and is becoming the main technology of DC motor control. The advantages of the designed system are high-speed precision, fast response, wide speed range and low loss characteristics. The core of the system uses a series of Microchip's PIC16F876 PIC micro-controller as the system control circuit. And the performance of the system has been tested on a 20W dc motor drives.

Abstract:The problem of abnormally low duty cycle of the PWM methods during the low speed running stage and discontinuous current were indicated by analyzing operational process of BLDC motor.And a new type of frequency converter with low cost in the condition of considering the practical application cost was presented.This new type of frequency converter has developed the running speed range to solve the low speed problem effectively by regulating the Buck circuit.And it also has reduced the cost maximally through using SCR as the main inverter device associated with turn-off circuit.

Abstract:Aiming at the low utilization rate of dc voltage H-bridge inverter and the complicated structure and the poor economic effect of double-H-bridge inverter in the control of two-phase BLDC,study on the inverter and the control strategy of two-phase BLDC was carried out,and a space vector pulse-width modulation(SVPWM) system of two-phase BLDC which used six-switch inverter was proposed.A two-phase BLDC control system which used double close loops of speed and current control was simulated through Matlab/Simulink.The control performance and the dc voltage utilization rate were tested by using PSoC.The results indicate that the system can realize the quick control of speed and the current of two-phase BLDC,and improve the utilization rate of bus voltage.The method is proved to be of great significance.

Abstract:The control system of brushless DC motor with singlechip microcontroller is introduced. The system consists of brushless DC motor, singlechip microcontroller and drive circuit with C515C as the controlling core. The acquisition of position sensor signals, the output of changephase signals, the measurement of speed of the motor, output of the digital PWM and A/D conversion of the motor's current are completed by C515C. The speed PI modulation is realized by the software. The PI realizes the closeloop control of the speed. In addition, the 3phase full control bridge of MOSFET tube, with high switch speed, low depreciation and low drive power, is used in power drive circuit. The main properties of the control system are: simple structure, digital control, and good dynamic and static properties.

Abstract:Easy regulating characteristics of traditional controller and high precision characteristics of ultrasonic motor controller based on direct digital synthesis(DDS) were fully used in order to accurately decouple frequency and amplitude,phase of ultrasonic motor driving voltage.By analyzing the parameters requirement of driving voltage,the sine signal was generated with a rational designed low pass filter by lowpass filtering a square wave,and was amplified to drive an ultrasonic motor.A novel ultrasonic motor control system with accurately decoupled parameters of driving voltage was designed.The relevant parameters of driving voltage can be accurately controlled by adjusting frequency,phase and duty of the square wave.The control system designed by this approach can simultaneously control two ultrasonic motors.The precision of phase and amplitude is better than 10 bits,and the frequency resolution is 16 Hz.

Abstract:In order to design a low-cost,small-size and light-weight brushless DC motor(BLDCM) controller,the paper introduces the advantages of BLDCM and discusses related position detecting methods,compares the control methods of BLDCM with position sensors with that without position sensors,and analyzes the operation status of BLDCM controller.The paper designs a sensorless BLDCM controller based on back-EMF,and employs a double-closed-loop speed regulating system to get good dynamic performance. Besides,based on the excellent performance of MCU in interruption processing,the designed controller could achieve real-time current monitoring and fast over-current protection. The paper also designs a communication protocol,on the basis of RS232,to strengthen the communication stability between PC and motor controller and to monitor the status of speed regulating system in real time. Finally,experiment is designed and carried out to validate the proposed system.

Abstract:In the field of motion control systems, motor speed control plays a pivotal role. Various control algorithms and methods have been developed for this purpose, and one of the earliest strategies to emerge was analog control. Over time, it has evolved into a typical control structure with convenient parameter tuning capable of meeting general control requirements. This design is based on digital control algorithms, with the ST89C52 microcontroller as the control core. It generates pulse-width modulation (PWM) pulses controlled by a digital algorithm to regulate the speed of direct circuit (DC) motors. Additionally, it utilizes a photoelectric sensor to convert motor speed into pulse frequency, which is fed back to the microcontroller, thereby achieving closed-loop speed control and eliminating static speed errors.

Abstract:A high performance,low cost vetor control system for PMSMs in drum washing machines was presented in this paper.Considering the high torque-low speed in the washing mode and low torque-high speed in the dewashing mode,a novel field-weakening control method based on advanced angle was proposed especially for the dewashing mode,which can be realized in 8 bit MCU.The range of the advanced angle was analysed in the paper.In order to save costs,the rotor position was detected by the hall sensors,while the phase current was measured by two shunts in the low leg of the IGBT.Experimental result shows that the static and dynamic characteristics of the designed system are good,and that the system can meet the demand of the drum washing machine application.
