Abstract:In present paper we define a new kind of quantized enveloping algebra of sl(2). We denote this algebra by U-r,U-t, where r, t are two non-negative integers. It is a non-commutative and non-cocommutative Hopf algebra. If r = 0, then the algebra U-r,U-t is isomorphic to a tensor product of the algebra of infinite cyclic group and the usual quantum enveloping algebra of sl(2) as Hopf algebras. The representation of this algebra is studied.

Abstract:For a field k and two finite groups G and X, when G acts on X from the right by group automorphisms, there is a Hopf algebra structure on k-space (kX op )* ⋇ kG (see Theorem 2.1), called a non-balanced quantum double and denoted by D X (G). In this paper, some Hopf algebra properties of D X (G) are given, the representation types of D X (G) viewed as a k-algebra are discussed, the algebra structure and module category over D X (G) are studied. Since the Hopf algebra structure of non-balanced quantum double D X (G) generalizes the usual quantum double D(G) for a finite group G, all results about D X (G) in this paper can also be used to describe D(G) as a special case and the universal R-matrix of D X (G) provides more solutions of Yang-Baxter equation.

Abstract:In[3]and[6],the Hopf algebra structures of path algebra and path coalgebra on a Hopf quiver and a covering quiver respect to a weight sequence respectively were introduced independently.The main aim of this paper is to show the dually one-to-one correspondent relations between their structures(see Theorems 2.1 and 2.4).As applications,firstly,the authors obtain some important results about the Hopf algebra structure on the quotient of path algebra on a cycle;then,they prove that the Sweedler's fourdimensional Hopf algebra H4 is not only quasi-triangular but also co-quasi-triangular.Lastly,they characterize the graded automorphism group of the Hopf algebras on the path algebra of a Schurian covering quiver, according to that on the path coalgebra of a Schurian Hopf quiver.
U-q(sl(m+1))-Module Algebra Structures on the Coordinate Algebra of a Quantum Vector Space

Abstract:In this paper, the module-algebra structures of U-q(sl(m + 1)) = H(e(i), f(i), k(i)(+/- 1))(1 <= i <= m)., on the coordinate algebra of quantum vector spaces are studied. We denote the coordinate algebra of quantum n-dimensional vector space by A(q)(n). As our main result, first, we give a complete classification of module-algebra structures of U-p(sl(m + 1)) on A(q)(3) when k(i) is an element of Aut L(A(q)(3)) as actions on A(q)(3) for i = 1,...,m and m >= 2 and with the same method, on A(q)(2), all module-algebra structures of U-q(sl(m + 1)) are characterized. Lastly, the module-algebra structures of U-q(sl(m + 1)) on A(q)(n) are obtained for any n >= 4.

Abstract:In this paper, we define a class of extended quantum enveloping algebras U q ( f ( K, J )) and some new Hopf algebras, which are certain extensions of quantum enveloping algebras by a Hopf algebra H . This construction generalizes some well-known extensions of quantum enveloping algebras by a Hopf algebra and provides a large of new noncommutative and noncocommutative Hopf algebras.

Abstract:Let wU be a new weak quantized enveloping algebra associated to a Borcherds superalgebrag.Let H be a Hopf algebra.By further adding commutative group-like elements bik,(C)ik,(g)ik,hik (i ∈ I,k =1,2,…,mi) of a Hopf algebra H to the superalgebra wU,we define an extended superalgebra H (⊕) wU.It is a weak Hopf superalgebra under some conditions.Wealso obtain an extended quantized enveloping algebra by localizing H (⊕) wU with an Ore set.

The algebra structure of weak Hopf algebras corresponding to Uq(sl2) can be written as the direct sum of Uq(sl2) and an algebra of polynomials. The coalgebra structure of weak Hopf algebras corresponding to Uq(sl2) are classified by their Ext quiver. There are four types of such structures.

Abstract:The major purpose of this paper is to construct a weak Hopf algebra with grading from a family of Hopf algebras, and then to gain a related quantum G-double with regular R-matrix. First, over a field k, we introduce a so-called semilattice graded weak Hopf algebra H=⊕α∈YHα. Then the quantum G-double D′(H) of H is obtained in case that H is commutative. Moreover, it is shown that D′(H) is semisimple (respectively, von Neumann regular) if and only if H is a semisimple (respectively, von Neumann regular) Hopf algebra. At last, a nontrivial example of semilattice graded weak Hopf algebras is obtained.

Abstract:A two-parameter quantum group is obtained from the usual enveloping algebra by adding two commutative grouplike elements. In this paper, we generalize this procession further by adding commutative grouplike elements b ik , c ik , g ik , h ik ( i ∈ I, k = 1,..., m i ) of a Hopf algebra H to the quantized enveloping algebra U q ( G ) of a Borcherds superalgebra G defined by a symmetrizable integral Borcherds–Cartan matrix A = ( a ij ) i,j∈I . Therefore, we define an extended Hopf superalgebra H ⊗′ U q ( G ). We also discuss the basis and the grouplike elements of H ⊗′ U q ( G ).

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate weak Hopf algebras introduced in Li (J Algebra 208:72–100, 1998 ; Commun Math Phys 225:191–217, 2002 ) corresponding to quantum algebras U q ( f ( K , H )) (see Wang et al. in Commun Algebra 30:2191–2211, 2002 ). A new class of algebras is defined, which is denoted by 𝔴U^d_q. For d = ((1, 1) | (1, 1)), denote 𝔴U^d_q briefly by 𝔴_1U_q ; for d = ((0, 0) | (0, 0)), denote 𝔴U^d_q briefly by 𝔴_2U_q. In some cases, the necessary and sufficient conditions for 𝔴_1U_q and 𝔴_2U_q to be weak Hopf algebras are given. The PBW bases of 𝔴_1U_q and 𝔴_2U_q are presented. Finally, representations and the center of 𝔴_1U_q are characterized over ℂ with q ∈ℂ which is not a root of unity.

Abstract:We build representations of the affine and double affine braid groups and Hecke algebras of type $C^\vee C_n$, based upon the theory of quantum symmetric pairs $(U,B)$. In the case $U=U_q(gl_N)$, our constructions provide a quantization of the representations constructed by Etingof, Freund and Ma in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="0801.1530" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/0801.1530">arXiv:0801.1530</a>, and also a type $BC$ generalization of the results in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="0805.2766" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/0805.2766">arXiv:0805.2766</a>.

Abstract:We use the Hecke algebras of affine symmetric groups and their associated Schur algebras to construct a new algebra through a basis, and a set of generators and explicit multiplication formulas of basis elements by generators. We prove that this algebra is isomorphic to the quantum enveloping algebra of the loop algebra of $\mathfrak {gl}_n$. Though this construction is motivated by the work \cite{BLM} by Beilinson--Lusztig--MacPherson for quantum $\frak{gl}_n$, our approach is purely algebraic and combinatorial, independent of the geometric method which seems to work only for quantum $\mathfrak{gl}_n$ and quantum affine $\mathfrak{sl}_n$. As an application, we discover a presentation of the Ringel--Hall algebra of a cyclic quiver by semisimple generators and their multiplications by the defining basis elements.

Shuffle algebras for quivers as quantum groups

Abstract:We define a quantum loop group $\mathbf{U}^+_Q$ associated to an arbitrary quiver $Q=(I,E)$ and maximal set of deformation parameters, with generators indexed by $I \times \mathbb{Z}$ and some explicit quadratic and cubic relations. We prove that $\mathbf{U}^+_Q$ is isomorphic to the (generic, small) shuffle algebra associated to the quiver $Q$ and hence, by [Neg21a], to the localized K-theoretic Hall algebra of $Q$. For the quiver with one vertex and $g$ loops, this yields a presentation of the spherical Hall algebra of a (generic) smooth projective curve of genus $g$ (invoking the results of [SV12]). We extend the above results to the case of non-generic parameters satisfying a certain natural metric condition. As an application, we obtain a description by generators and relations of the subalgebra generated by absolutely cuspidal eigenforms of the Hall algebra of an arbitrary smooth projective curve (invoking the results of [KSV17]).

Abstract:In this article, the two-parameter quantum Heisenberg enveloping algebra, which serves as a model for certain quantum generalized Heisenberg algebras, have been studied at roots of unity. In this context, the quantum Heisenberg enveloping algebra becomes a polynomial identity algebra, and the dimension of simple modules is bounded by its PI degree. The PI degree, center, and complete classification of simple modules up to isomorphism are explicitly presented. We work over a field of arbitrary characteristic, although our results concerning the representations require that it is algebraically closed.

Abstract:We introduce an integral form U of the quantized enveloping algebra of sl_2. The algebra U is just large enough so that the quasi-R-matrix is contained in a completion of U\otimes U. We study several completions of the algebra U, and determine their centers. This study is motivated by a study of integrality properties of the quantum sl_2 invariants of links and integral homology spheres.

Abstract:We investigate the structure of the double Ringel-Hall algebras associated with cyclic quivers and its connections with quantum loop algebras of $\mathfrak{gl}_n$, affine quantum Schur algebras and affine Hecke algebras. This includes their Drinfeld-Jimbo type presentation, affine quantum Schur-Weyl reciprocity, representations of affine quantum Schur algebras, and connections with various existing works by Lusztig, Varagnolo-Vasserot, Schiffmann, Hubery, Chari-Pressley, Frenkel-Mukhin, etc. We will also discuss conjectures on a realization of Beilinson-Lusztig-MacPherson type and Lusztig type integral forms for double Ringel-Hall algebras.

Abstract:This article introduces the duplex Hecke algebra, which is an infinite dimensional algebra generated by two Hecke algebras. This concept originates from the degenerate duplex Hecke algebra in the theory of Schur-Weyl duality related to enhanced reductive algebraic groups. We will study the finite dimensional natural representation of the duplex Hecke algebra on tensor space and prove that the duplex Hecke algebra forms a duality with the Levi type quantum group.
