Abstract:Objective To evaluate the clinical value of combined evaluation of tissue left ventricular diastolic function by Doppler imaging in drug users. Methods 89 drug users were selected and divided into three groups and 59 healthy controls were selected as the study subjects. Tissue Doppler imaging and MVF, PVF were conducted;mitral valve E peak, A peak velocity and velocity ratio(E/A); mitral valve E peak deceleration time DT; pulmonary vein contraction wave, diastolic wave velocity(S, D); ratio of pulmonary vein contraction wave velocity to diastolic wave velocity(S/D);pulmonary venous atrial contraction wave velocity(AR) and duration(Adur) were measured. Results(1)The younger the age of using drug and the longer the time of drug use, and the worse the left ventricular diastolic function. The left ventricular wall was thickening, and the left atrium and the left ventricle were larger;(2) MVF parameters: There was no gradual decline in E/A along with the increasing cardiac function in the control group and drug use group. The composition ratio of three types of E/A was different in drug use group B, C and(>1; <1; >2), 11/31/0, 31/18/1,6/4/7 respectively;(3)PVF parameters:The PVF parameters were gradually increasing along with the cardiac function in drug use group B, C, and D. S-wave velocity, and S/D were decreasing, and D-wave velocity, and AR, Adur were increasing. There was no significant difference between the control group A and the drug use group B except S-wave velocity;(4)The parameters of tissue Doppler imaging:The parameters were gradually increasing along with the cardiac function in the drug use group B, C and D, and E and E/A were decreasing and A was gradually increasing(P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the control group A and the drug use group B. Conclusion Tissue Doppler imaging combined with mitral and pulmonary venous flow spectrum can comprehensively reflect the diastolic function of left ventricle in drug users and detect the degree of resulting dysfunction.
