Abstract:In this paper, we obtain some Bonnesen-style Minkowski inequalities of mixed volumes of convex bodies K and L in the Euclidean space Rn. Let L be the unit ball; we get some better Bonnesen-style isoperimetric inequalities than Dinghas’s result for n≥3.

Abstract:In this paper, we confirm the Lp-Brunn-Minkowski inequality conjecture for p close to 1. The logarithmic-Brunn-Minkowski inequality is also verified for convex bodies close to the unit ball in Hausdorff distance.

Abstract:For convex domains K i (i = 0, 1) (compact convex sets with non-empty interiors) in the Euclidean plane R 2. Denote by A i and P i areas and circum-perimeters, respectively. The symmetric mixed isoperimetric deficit is $\varDelta (K_{0},K_{1}):= P_{0}^{2}P_{1}^{2} - 16\pi ^{2}A_{0}A_{1}$. In this paper, we give some Bonnesen-style symmetric mixed inequalities, that is, inequalities of the form $\varDelta (K_{0},K_{1}) \geq B_{K_{0},K_{1}}$, where $B_{K_{0},K_{1}}$ is a non-negative invariant of geometric significance and vanishes if and only if both K 0 and K 1 are discs. We also obtain some reverse Bonnesen-style symmetric mixed inequalities. Those inequalities are natural generalizations of known geometric inequalities, such as the known classical isoperimetric inequality.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the symmetric mixed isoperimetric deficit $\Delta_{2}(K_{0},K_{1})$ of domains $K_{0}$ and $K_{1}$ in the Euclidean plane $\mathbb{R}^{2}$. Via the known kinematic formulae of Poincaré and Blaschke in integral geometry, we obtain some Bonnesen-style symmetric mixed inequalities. These new Bonnesen-style symmetric mixed inequalities are known as Bonnesen-style inequalities if one of the domains is a disc. Some inequalities obtained in this paper strengthen the known Bonnesen-style inequalities.

Abstract:In this note, we study Bézout type inequalities for mixed volumes and Minkowski sums of convex bodies in . We first give a new proof and we extend inequalities of Jian Xiao on mixed discriminants. Then, we use the mass transport method to deduce some Bézout type inequalities for mixed volumes. Finally, we apply these inequalities to obtain Bézout type inequalities for Minkowski sums.

Abstract:By evaluating the containment measure of one domain to contain another, we will derive some new Bonnesen-type inequalities (Theorem 2) via the method of integral geometry. We obtain Ren's sufficient condition for one domain to contain another domain (Theorem 4). We also obtain some new geometric inequalities. Finally we give a simplified proof of the Bottema's result.

Abstract:About 15 years ago, Lutwak and Zhang (E. Lutwak and G. Zhang, Blaschke-Santalo inequalities, J. Differ. Geom. 47 (1997), 1-16) introduced the notion of L-p moment bodies and established important volume inequalities for them, which were recently generalized by Haberl and Schuster (C. Haberl and E. Schuster, General L-p affine isoperimetric inequalities, J. Differ. Geom. 83 (2009), 1-26). In this paper, we establish new Brunn-Minkowski-type inequalities with respect to Blaschke L-p harmonic addition for the quermassintegrals and dual quermassintegrals of L-p moment bodies.

Abstract:In this paper, the reverse Bonnesen style inequalities for convex domain in the Euclidean plane R-2 are investigated. The Minkowski mixed convex set of two convex sets K and L is studied and some new geometric inequalities are obtained. From these inequalities obtained, some isoperimetric deficit upper limits, that is, the reverse Bonnesen style inequalities for convex domain K are obtained. These isoperimetric deficit upper limits obtained are more fundamental than the known results of Bottema ([5]) and Pleijel ([22]).

Abstract:The Wulff isoperimetric inequality is a natural extension of the classical isoperimetric inequality (Green and Osher in Asian J. Math. 3:659-676 1999 ). In this paper, we establish some Bonnesen-style Wulff isoperimetric inequalities and reverse Bonnesen-style Wulff isoperimetric inequalities. Those inequalities obtained are extensions of known Bonnesen-style inequalities and reverse Bonnesen-style inequalities.

Abstract:The notion of (p, q)-mixed volume was introduced by Lutwak, Yang and Zhang. In this paper, associated with the (p, q)-mixed volume, we prove a modification of the log-Minkowski inequality which is a unification form of the log-Minkowski inequality and the dual log-Minkowski inequality. As the application, we establish the (p, q)-mixed affine isoperimetric inequality.

Abstract:Böröczky-Lutwak-Yang-Zhang proved the log-Brunn-Minkowski inequality for two origin-symmetric convex bodies in the plane in a way that is stronger than for the classical Brunn-Minkowski inequality. In this paper, we investigate the relative positive center set of planar convex bodies. As an application of the relative positive center, we prove the log-Minkowski inequality and the log-Brunn-Minkowski inequality.

Abstract:Let Kk （k = i,j） be domain of the area Ak, and of the perimeter Pk, respectively. The symmetric mixed isoperimetric deficit of h＇i and Kj is defined σ（Ki,Kj）=Pi^2Pj^2-16π^2AiAj. We follow the ideas of Zhou, Ren （2010） and Zhou, Yue （2009） and obtain some Bonnesen-style symmetric mixed inequalities and the sym- metric mixed isoperimetric inequality by the method of integral geometry. We also ob- tain some symmetric mixed isoperimetric upper limits. Some discrete Bonnesen-style symmetric mixed inequalities and one upper limit of the discrete symmetric mixed isoperimetric deficit for two domains are obtained. Finally we apply these symmetric mixed （isoperimetric） inequalities to estimate the complete elliptic integral of second class.
