Abstract:We prove the existence of Kahler-Einstein metric on a K-stable Fano manifold using the recent compactness result on Kahler-Ricci flows. The key ingredient is an algebro-geometric description of the asymptotic behavior of Kahler-Ricci flow on Fano manifolds. This is in turn based on a general finite dimensional discussion, which is interesting in its own and could potentially apply to other problems. As one application, we relate the asymptotics of the Calabi flow on a polarized Kahler manifold to K-stability assuming bounds on geometry.

Abstract:This is the third and final article in a series which prove the fact that a K-stable Fano manifold admits a Kähler-Einstein metric. In this paper we consider the Gromov-Hausdorff limits of metrics with cone singularities in the case when the limiting cone angle approaches 2 π \pi . We also put all our technical results together to complete the proof of the main theorem.

Abstract:Let $(M,J)$ be a Fano manifold which admits a Kähler-Einstein metric $g_{KE}$ (or a Kähler-Ricci soliton $g_{KS}$). Then we prove that Kähler-Ricci flow on $(M,J)$ converges to $g_{KE}$ (or $g_{KS}$) in $C^\infty $ in the sense of Kähler potentials modulo holomorphisms transformation as long as an initial Kähler metric of flow is very closed to $g_{KE}$ (or $g_{KS}$). The result improves Main Theorem in [14] in the sense of stability of Kähler-Ricci flow.

Abstract:It is a long-standing problem to establish the existence of Kähler- Einstein metrics on Fano manifolds since Yau’s solution for the Calabi conjecture in late 70s. It is also one of driving forces in today’s study in Kähler geometry. In this paper, we discuss a program I started more than twenty years ago on this famous problem. It includes some of my results and speculations on the existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics on Fano manifolds, such as, holomorphic invariants, the K-stability, the compactness theorem for Kähler- Einstein manifolds, the partial CO-estimates and their variations. I will also discuss some related problems as well as some recent advances.

Abstract:The conformai properties of complex Finsler metrics are studied. We first give a characterization of a compact complex Finsler manifold to be globally conformai Kahler. By considering the total holomorphic curvature and total Ricci curvature in the volume preserved conformal classes, we then study the variational properties of Kahler Finsler metrics. By studying the spectral properties of two average metrics, the stabilities of critical Kähler Finsler metrics are verified. Finally, a Yamabe type problem for mean holomorphic Ricci curvature is considered, and a partial existence result is obtained.

Abstract:In this paper, we directly prove that if the limit of microscopic stability thresholds introduced by Berman for a polarized manifold satisfies some condition, then there exists a unique constant scalar curvature Kähler metric. This is an analogue of <a class="link-external link-http" href="http://K.Zhang" rel="external noopener nofollow">this http URL</a>'s result which is proved by the delta-invariant introduced by Fujita-Odaka. This work is motivated by Berman's result which shows that if a Fano manifold is uniformly Gibbs stable, then there exists a unique Kähler-Einstein metric, without uniform K-stability. We also give some sufficient conditions of the existence of a constant scalar curvature Kähler cone metric.

Abstract:In this note, we prove that on polarized toric manifolds the relative K-stability with respect to Donaldson's toric degenerations is a necessary condition for the existence of Calabi's extremal metrics, and we also show that the modified K-energy is proper in the space of G(0)-invariant Kahler potentials in the case of toric surfaces which admit the extremal metrics.

Abstract:Let M be a connected compact KaÈhler manifold. An obvious necessary condition for M to admit a KaÈhler-Einstein metric is that the ®rst Chern class c1M is either negative, zero or positive, where a real 2-dimensional de Rham cohomology class is said to be negative (resp. positive) if it is represented by a negative (resp. positive) de®nite 1; 1-form. Conversely, if c1M is negative or zero then M admits a KaÈhler-Einstein metric by the solution to the Calabi conjectures (Aubin [1], Yau [21]). In the remaining case where c1M is positive, in which case M is often called a Fano manifold, there are further necessary conditions. First of all the Lie algebra hM of all holomorphic vector ®elds on a KaÈhler-Einstein Fano manifold M is reductive (Matsushima [14]). Secondly a Lie algebra character f : hM ! C introduced in [10] must vanish on a KaÈhler-Einstein Fano manifold. It was also proven by Bando-Mabuchi [5] that if M admits a KaÈhlerEinstein metric then certain functional, called K-energy, of M is bounded from below. This analytic necessary condition played a theoretically important role in the later studies. In fact Ding and Tian [9] extended the results of [10] and [5] to obtain a necessary condition applicable to manifolds which do not carry any non-zero holomorphic vector ®elds. Tian [20] further extended these ideas to de®ne certain notions of stability, called K-stability and CM-stability, and presented an example of a Fano manifold with no non-zero holomorphic vector ®elds and no KaÈhler-Einstein metrics. On the other hand there are known su1⁄2cient conditions for the existence of positive KaÈhler-Einstein metrics by Aubin [2], Ding [8], Siu [17], Tian [18] and Nadel [15]. Now one would hope to have a necessary and su1⁄2cient condition for the existence of positive KaÈhler-Einstein metrics. To state such a condition, Tian [20] introduced a notion of properness for the K-energy and a functional introduced by Ding [8]. Abstract:Non Kähler Calabi Yau theory is a newly developed subject and it arises naturally in mathematical physics and generalized geometry. The relevant geometrics are pluriclosed metrics which are critical points of the generalized Einstein Hilbert action. In this work, we study the critical points of the generalized Einstein Hilbert action and discuss the stability of critical points which are defined as pluriclosed steady solitons. We proved that all Bismut Hermitian Einstein manifolds are linearly stable which generalizes the work from Tian, Zhu, Hall, Murphy and Koiso In addition, all Bismut flat pluriclosed steady solitons with positive Ricci curvature are linearly strictly stable.

Abstract:Using spin$^c$ structure we prove that K\"ahler-Einstein metrics with nonpositive scalar curvature are stable (in the direction of changes in conformal structures) as the critical points of the total scalar curvature functional. Moreover if all infinitesimal complex deformation of the complex structure are integrable, then the K\"ahler-Einstein metric is a local maximal of the Yamabe invariant, and its volume is a local minimum among all metrics with scalar curvature bigger or equal to the scalar curvature of the K\"ahler-Einstein metric.

Abstract:We explore connections between existence of $\Bbbk$-rational points for Fano varieties defined over $\Bbbk$, a subfield of $\mathbb{C}$, and existence of Kähler-Einstein metrics on their geometric models. First, we show that geometric models of del Pezzo surfaces with at worst quotient singularities defined over $\Bbbk\subset\mathbb{C}$ admit (orbifold) Kähler--Einstein metrics if they do not have $\Bbbk$-rational points. Then we prove the same result for smooth Fano 3-folds with 8 exceptions. Consequently, we explicitly describe several families of pointless Fano 3-folds whose geometric models admit Kähler-Einstein metrics. In particular, we obtain new examples of prime Fano 3-folds of genus $12$ that admit Kähler--Einstein metrics. Our result can also be used to prove existence of rational points for certain Fano varieties, for example for any smooth Fano 3-fold over $\Bbbk\subset\mathbb{C}$ whose geometric model is strictly K-semistable.
