Abstract:In this paper, we characterize locally full k_ convexity of vector_valued sequence spaces ss (E) and prove that if ss is locally uniform convex, then ss (E) is locally full k_ convex if and only if E is locally full k_ convex.

Abstract:A characterization of unconditional convergent series is given for the case of sequentially complete locally convex spaces. From it we show that if E is a barrelled space with continuous dual E', then (E', beta(E', E)) contains no copy of (c(0), parallel to.parallel to(infinity)) if and only if every continuous linear operator T : E --> l(1) is both compact and sequentially compact.

Abstract:Let $(X,\tau_X)$ and $(Y,\tau_Y)$ be locally convex spaces, $c(X)$ and $c(Y)$ the $X$-valued and $Y$-valued convergent sequence spaces, respectively, $A_{ij} \in L(X,Y)$ and $A=(A_{ij})$ an operator-valued infinite matrix. In this paper, we characterize the matrix $A=(A_{ij})$ which transforms $c(X)$ into $c(Y)$. As its applications, we introduce the chi function $\chi$ on locally convex spaces, and show that a conservative matrix is conull if and only if $\chi$ (A)=0$.

Abstract:Let (X, tau(1)) and (Y, tau(2)) be two Hausdorff locally convex spaces with continuous duals X, and Y', respectively, L (X, Y) be the space of all continuous linear operators from X into Y, K (X, Y) be the space of all compact operators of L (X, Y). Let WOT and UOT be the weak operator topology and uniform operator topology on K (X, Y), respectively. In this paper, we characterize a full-invariant property of K (X, Y); that is, if the sequence space X has the signed-weak gliding hump property, then each; lambda-multiplier WOT-convergent series Sigma(i) T-i in K(X, Y) must be X-multiplier convergent with respect to all topologies between WOT and UOT if and only if each continuous linear operator T: (X, tau(1)) --> or (lambda(beta), sigma(lambda(beta),lambda)) is compact. Abstract:We consider the optimization problem $(P_{A})$ $\inf_{x\in X}\{f(x)+g(Ax)\}$ where $f$ and $g$ are proper convex functions defined on locally convex Hausdorff topological vector spaces $X$ and $Y$, respectively, and $A$ is a linear operator from $X$ to $Y$. By using the properties of the epigraph of the conjugated functions, some sufficient and necessary conditions for the strong Fenchel duality and the strong converse Fenchel duality of $(P_{A})$ are provided. Sufficient and necessary conditions for the stable Fenchel duality and for the total Fenchel duality are also derived.

Abstract:The equivalence conditions for some K-convexities are explored, and obtain some conditions on which some K-convexities are equivalent to each other are obtained. For example, there are seven K- convexities equivalent to each other if Banach space X is reflexive and X, X* both possess (H) property respectively. If X is a reflexive space and has (H) property, then there are six K-convexities equivalent to each other.

Abstract:We consider a (finite or infinite) family of closed convex sets with nonempty intersection in a normed space. A property relating their epigraphs with their intersection's epigraph is studied, and its relations to other constraint qualifications (such as the linear regularity, the strong CHIP, and Jameson's ($G$)-property) are established. With suitable continuity assumption we show how this property can be ensured from the corresponding property of some of its finite subfamilies.

Abstract:In this paper, the σ-duals of two classes important sequence spaces l1(X) and l∞(X) are investigated, and shows that some topology properties of locally convex space (X,τ) can be characterized by the σ-duals. The criterions of bounded sets in l1(X) and l∞(X) with respect to the weak topologies generated by the σ-duals are obtained. Furthermore, a Schur type result and an automatic continuity theorem of matrix transformation are established.

Abstract:In this paper we introduce a new K convex space, that is K-very convex space with K smooth dual space. The new K convex space and K smooth space are strictly weaker than the old ones. Abstract:It is well known that not every convex multifunction admits an affine selection. One could ask whether there exists at least local affine selection. The answer is positive in the finite-dimensional case. The main part of this note consists of two examples of non-existence of local affine selections of convex multifunctions defined on certain infinite-dimensional Banach spaces.

Abstract:A locally convex space is said to be a Gâteaux differentiability space (GDS) provided every continuous convex function defined on a nonempty convex open subset D of the space is densely Gâteaux differentiable in D. This paper shows that the product of a GDS and a family of separable Fréchet spaces is a GDS, and that the product of a GDS and an arbitrary locally convex space endowed with the weak topology is a GDS.

Abstract:The links between order and topology have been extensively studied. The objective of this paper is to study the similar links between convex spaces and order structures via the lattices of convex sets. In particular, we prove a characterization of convex spaces uniquely determined by means of their lattices of convex sets, they are precisely sober and S_D . One adjunction between the category of convex spaces and that of continuous lattices is constructed, revealing the connection between convex structures and domain theory.
