Analysis of Noise Pollution of Harbin Institute of Technology (Weihai)

Abstract:Taking Harbin Institute of Technology(Weihai) as the example, the noise pollution condition of universities in China was monitored and analyzed.The results indicate that the acoustic environment in most regions of the university is at a standard level.The noise pollution is concentrated at the school gate, the stadium and the campus square et al, being slightly pol-luted.The noise pollution during the day is heavier than that at night and the noise pollution of the rest days is significantly higher than that of the working days.The sound level of the construction noise at campus is high and prone to be instantaneous high deci-bel noise, so noise reduction and noise removal measures should be taken.
