Abstract:This paper presents a research on technology management maturity of enterprises. The purpose is to develop an understanding of what technology management maturity is and to investigate the technology management maturity of enterprises in four industries in China. The investigation also has the practical purpose of supporting China's enterprises to develop their capabilities of technology management. Technology management maturity itself is measured along three dimensions. They are resource, organization, and quality. The different dimensions of maturity are measured respectively, and then the overall maturity is calculated, which should provide a good understanding of the technology management maturity. A questionnaire is developed based on this understanding of technology management maturity, and a survey on four industries in China has been conducted. The result of the survey shows that the highest technology management maturity is found in the aerospace industries, which on average scored highly on most dimensions. Other industries (petrochemical industry, manufacturing industry, and paging services industry) display some interesting differences in different domains. The differences are explained and suggestions for promoting technology management maturity are proposed.

Abstract:With the development of information technology and software industry, software development inclined to production of scale, criterion and industrialization. Different kinds of Project Maturity Models for enhancing performances of software development were broadly exploited and used factually. Based on literature review and enterprise research this paper put forward 47 factors which cover in three aspects of technology, organization and personnel. At the same time, the author classified the software development performance estimation indexes into four geniuses: quality, satisfaction, knowledge, controlling and effect index. Recurring to large-scale questionnaire research, the author also applied SPSS statistic instrument consisted of gene analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis to analyze the relationship between maturity factors and performance indexes and discussed the results, which indicated close connections between the project performance and different maturity factors affected the project performance to a certain extent. Finally, the author concluded the research results and made suggestions for the enterprises to enhance the software development project maturity.

Abstract:The importance of technological capability enhancement in today's highly competitive and demanding business environment is well accepted. This paper proposes a methodology to assess the elements of acquisitive, operative, adaptive, innovative, supportive and marketing capabilities, all of which together constitute the technological capability of a firm. The proposed methodology comprises five steps: identification of value addition stages performed by a firm; determination of technological capabilities needed at these stages; development of indicators for assessing the identified technological capabilities; benchmarking the capabilities assessed with a state-of-the-art firm; and analysis of the reasons for the technological capability gap between the firm being studied and the state-of-art firm.Based on the former study in this field and considering the particulars of Chinese companies, this paper brings about a new theoretic model for technological capability assessment firstly. The development of the indicators is illustrated using the firm from the Information Technology (IT) sector. Some suggestions are then made as to how the assessment exercise can be used for technological capability enhancement planning. Through the beta test on the empirical study of three IT firms, the paper validates the function, usability and usefulness of the tool. Special attention is paid to the relationship between technological innovation and equipotential development, external and internal factors that can influence technological capability enhancement.

Abstract:This paper introduced the theory of technology evolution and discussed the methods of estimating technology maturity, including the TRL (Technical Readiness Level), patent analysis, bibliometric, marketing research and expert consultation. In combination with the features of medical equipment technology, the maturity evaluation method was firstly applied to the medical equipment technology so as to make a research on maturity evaluation of the new medical equipment technology and the domestic medical equipment. Abstract:With the rapid development of modem building science and technology, the effective technology management system becomes one of the key factors to assure successful technology management and to promote competitiveness of building enterprises. In this paper, in order to assess functions and performances of a technology management system in building enterprises, the two concepts of quality and technology management system are interpreted and integrated, and a framework for a new concept-technology management system quality-is presented. The author explains factors that affect building enterprises' technology management system quality and illustrates constrains that should be considered in its assessment. And a PDCA-circle-based assessment model for technology management system quality is constructed. In the final part of the paper, some concluding remarks are made and what worth studying further is also pointed out.

This paper adopts correspondence analysis(CA) to analyze the data from 49 firms across three main stages of technology life cycle including the technology growth stage, the technology maturity stage, and the technology decline stage. Results show that firms in different stages of technology life. cycle pay attention to different technology management capabilities. Firms in the technology growth stage regard technology quality management more important. Firms in the technology maturity stage emphasize technology organization management more important. And firms in the technology decline stage highlight the important role of technology resource management.

Abstract:A grey relative degree assessment model for durability of concrete structure, based on the combinatorial weight, in which expert experience & information entropy are taken into account, is established after analyzing problems in existing durability assessment theory. Both the influence of subjective factors and the significance of objective factors are considered in this model, and to avoid assessment deviation for emphasizing one side or another. The model, which is testified by practical engineering example, provides a new approach to make durability assessment more scientifically and exactly.

Abstract:Although in 1985,Luc Soete had already brought up the thought about the leapfrogging development for developing country,and researches on technology leapfrogging also have been rise in our country,however,some basic problems for this field have not been resolved,so we can't have further research.The measurement of technology leapfrogging is one of above-mentioned basic problems.Based on the definition of technology leapfrogging in Ma Qingguo and Hu Longji(2007),this paper presents the measurement of the scale of technology leapfrogging.At the same time this paper demonstrates the direction of this measurement by the data from questionnaire.

Abstract:Based on the Capability Maturity Model (CMM), the Education Maturity Model (EMM) is proposed and the corresponding standards and key issues at each level are analyzed. Under the guidance of EMM, the quality standards of each step in the talent cultivation process are established. The quality assurance system is further built to realize the normalization, standardization and refinement management of talent cultivation. Based on the fine-grained measurement of the talent cultivation process and the scientific evaluation data of the talent cultivation quality, a closed-loop cultivation system that can be continuously optimized and improved is formed. The practice of the talent cultivation quality assurance system based on the EMM framework in the School of Computer Science, Shenyang Aerospace University shows that the total number of teaching research projects increased by 50%, and the number of students participating in science and technology competitions and the proportion of winning prizes increased by about 1 time.

Abstract:Objective To evaluate the CT (Computed Tomography) technology maturity on the basis of evolution patterns and S-curve forecasting tools in TRIZ theories so as to propose suggestions for the time of CT procurement. Methods The study made a comprehensive review of TRL-based, patent-based and literature-based technology maturity evaluation methods through literature search and review. It also took the patent measurement as an example to divide the life cycle of CT and evaluate its technology maturity. Results According to the patent number-time curve, CT was currently in the growth stage. And the S-curve of a single technology could constitute the S-curve of a whole technology in certain category via transitions. The ranking of patent applicants could be used to determine the situation of marketing competition. The study indicated that most CT suppliers used the skimming pricing decisions. Conclusion Through veriifcation of the technical features of the ifrst to the iffth generation CT, the patent measurement proved its effectiveness in technology maturity evaluation. And its result was helpful for various medical institutes to make a choice of the best and performance/price-balanced procurement time that were suitable for their development planning.
The Technology Acceptance on AR Memorable Tourism Experience—The Empirical Evidence from China

Abstract:The application of augmented reality (AR) technology has revolutionized the memorable tourism experience (MTE) of travelers, while challenging traditional destination marketing practices. As AR technology emerges as a promising approach to enhancing tourists' experiences in tourism destinations, it becomes increasingly crucial to delve into the specific mechanisms through which AR generates MTE. Therefore, this study integrated MTE into the various conceptual structures of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), aiming to explore the antecedents and consequences of MTE formation within the TAM framework. Additionally, the specific relationship between TAM and different degrees of MTE was also discussed. The results indicated that perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived ease of use (PEOU) of AR technology are antecedents for MTE formation. In the High-MTE group, both PU and PEOU had a significant effect on MTE, but in the Low-MTE group, only PEOU had a significant effect on MTE. At the same time, the attitude towards usage (ATU) and the behavioral intention (BI) of AR are two significant consequences of MTE, in which ATU also plays the role of mediator between MTE and BI. Specifically, in the high-MTE group, MTE has a significant positive effect on both the ATU and BI of AR, while the Low-MTE group influences BI only through the complete mediating effect of ATU. This study enriched the existing literature by exploring a new model of using AR to enhance MTE, providing significant implications for future tourism research and the sustainable development of tourist destinations.

Abstract:Based on accumulated studies on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and related efforts in technology adoption research, this paper proposes an extended model for analyzing the initial technology acceptance behavior of Chinese users. To empirically test the model, a survey regarding the recognition and adoption of an English-learning software among the freshmen of a business school is used. Results from structured equation model (SEM) analyses illustrates that most of the factors in the proposed model have direct or indirect significant influence on both near-term and long-term intentions of use, and demonstrated the potential ability of the model to interpret the initial IT acceptance behavior of individual Chinese users.

Abstract:Purpose - Only limited attention has been paid to the issue of Measurement Data Quality (MDQ) in a metrology context. To address this critique of the literature a methodology to assure MDQ was proposed. Methodology - The study proposes a methodology which consists of four steps can be used to 1 identify the importance of a measurement (identification), 2 determine accuracy and precision (determination), 3 evaluate the criticality of the measurement to its impact on the final result (evaluation) and 4 record the facts that influenced the decision making process (documentation). Findings -When followed and properly documented, these four steps can help ensure our measurements are valid and worthwhile. Identifying the important measurements that are made, determining the level of accuracy required and then using the proper tools to make the measurements will yield valid, useful results.
