Abstract:In this paper, we consider the problem of finding a common fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping and a lambda-strict pseudocontraction based on a general iterative process. Strong convergence of iterative sequences generated in the purposed iterative process is obtained in a real Banach space.

Abstract:The nonlinear equation x + Tx = y is studied, where T is an m-accretive, nonexpansive mapping on a q-uniformly smooth Banach space with q is an element of (1, 2]. A Mann iterative process is proved to strongly converge to the unique solution of the equation. An estimates of convergence rate of the process is also given. The results of the paper extend those of Dotson [10] from the Hilbert space setting to a Banach space setting.

Abstract:It is shown that the implicit Mann method can generate a sequence strongly convergent to a fixed point of a multivalued nonexpansive mapping in a uniformly convex Banach space with Opial's property. It is also demonstrated some examples which show that both Mann and implicit Mann methods may in general fail to converge to a fixed point of a multivalued nonexpansive mapping.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the problem of finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping, the set of solutions of the generalized mixed vector equilibrium problem and the solution set of a variational inequality problem with a monotone Lipschitz continuous mapping in Hilbert spaces. We first consider an auxiliary problem for the generalized mixed vector equilibrium problem and prove the existence and uniqueness of the solution for the auxiliary problem. We then introduce an iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping, the set of solutions of the generalized mixed vector equilibrium problem and the solution set of a variational inequality problem with a monotone Lipschitz continuous mapping. The results presented in this paper can be considered as a generalization of some known results due to Peng and Yao [16,17].

Abstract:The aim of the paper is to construct an iterative method for finding the fixed points of nonexpansive mappings. We introduce a general implicit iterative scheme for finding an element of the set of fixed points of a nonexpansive mapping defined on a nonempty closed convex subset of a real Hilbert space. The strong convergence theorem for the proposed iterative scheme is proved under certain assumptions imposed on the sequence of parameters. Our results extend and improve the results given by Ke and Ma [Y. Ke, C. Ma, Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2015 (2015), 21 pages], Xu et al. [H. K. Xu, M. A. Alghamdi, N. Abstract:In this article, we introduce a hybrid iterative scheme for finding a common element of the set of solutions for a generalized equilibrium problems, the set of common fixed point for a family of infinite k-strict pseudo-contractive mappings, and the set of solutions of the variational inclusion problem with multi-valued maximal monotone mappings and inverse-strongly monotone mappings in Hilbert space. Under suitable conditions, some strong convergence theorems are proved. Our results extends the recent results in G.L.Acedo and H.K.Xu [2], Zhang, Lee and Chan [8], Takahashi and Toyoda [9], Takahashi and Takahashi [10] and S. S. Chang, H. W. Joseph Lee and C. K. Chan [11], S.Takahashi and W.Takahashi [12]. Moreover, the method of proof adopted in this article is different from those of [4] and [12].

Abstract:In this paper, a new iterative algorithm involving nonexpansive mapping in Hilbert space is proposed and proved to be strongly convergent to a point which is simultaneously a fixed point of a nonexpansive mapping and a solution of an equilibrium problem. The results of the paper extend previous results, see, for instance, Takahashi and Takahashi (J Math Anal Appl 331:506–515, 2007), and other results in this field. Moreover, this algorithm is applied to find zeros of a maximal monotone operator and solve an optimization problem.
