Abstract:We point out a mistake and the incorrect conclusion of the paper "H∞ output feedback control design of fuzzy dynamic systems via LMI" in Acta Automatica Sinica 2001,27(4). We also give the correction of the mistake.

Abstract:The /spl alpha/-stabilization problem for a class of uncertain linear time-delay systems is studied. The synthesis problem addressed here is to design an output feedback control law such that the resulting closed-loop system is /spl alpha/-stable and possesses H/sub /spl infin// performance for all admissible uncertainties, and a sufficient condition for the existence of such a control law is presented in terms of several linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, an illustrative example is advanced to demonstrate the superiority of this method.

Abstract:The analysis and synthesis of H∞ control via state feedback for discrete switched systems with time delay subsystems are studied.Based on multiple Lyapunov functions theory,a new sufficient condition in form of LMI is derived for the H∞ performance analysis under arbitrary switching.Furthermore,a H∞ controller via state feedback of switched systems is established,and the result is extended to uncertain switched systems with time delay.Finally,two numerical examples show the feasibility of the designed controller.

Abstract:In this work, the analysis of robust stability and design of robust H ∞ output feedback controllers for a class of Lur’e systems with both time-delays and parameter uncertainties were studied. A robust H ∞ output feedback controller based on Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs) was developed to guarantee the robust stability and H ∞ performance of the resultant closed-loop system. The presented design approach is based on the application of descriptor model transformation and Park’s inequality for the bounding of cross terms and is expected to be less conservative compared to reported design methods. Finally, illustrative examples are advanced to demonstrate the superity of the obtained method.

Abstract:Paper H∞, robust control for multi-time delay systems proposed a method of designing H∞ state feedback controller. Furthermore, the above literature gave a necessary and sufficient condition for a Riccati inequality with parameter pertur-bances to have robustness. However, there are some serious mistakes in the proof of the literature. Here, the authors pointed out these mistakes and gave the corresponding modification. Additional, the authors discussed the uncertainties.

Abstract:In this paper, the problems of relaxed quadratic stability conditions and H∞ output feedback control designs for T-S fuzzy systems have been studied. First new quadratic stability conditions are obtained by relaxing the stability conditions derived in previous papers. Secondly it presents H∞ output feedback control designs of complex nonlinear systems which can be represented by T-S fuzzy dynamic systems. Based on a common Lyapunov function, new output feedback H∞ fuzzy control design methods are developed. New method considers the interactions among all fuzzy subsystems. The output feedback H∞ controllers can be obtained by solving a set of suitable linear matrix inequalities.

Abstract:This paper investigates the problem of static output feedback H ∞ control for a class of nonlinear systems via a linear matrix inequality (LMI) approach. The considered system is approximated by the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model. Based on a Lyapunov functional method, we develop a H ∞ control law which makes the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable with guaranteed H ∞ performance. In contrast to the existing results, the gains of controller are obtained by solving a set of LMIs. The proposed method is easy to implement, and can be applied to linear systems. A numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.

Abstract:For linear uncertain systems with actuator faults,the problem of robust fault-tolerant H∞ dynamic output feedback control was studied.Based on an actuator failure model with continuous gain,the sufficient condition for dynamic output feedback H∞ robust fault-tolerant controllers was proposed by using a linear matrix inequality(LMI) approach,and the corresponding design method of a dynamic output feedback H∞ controller was given.The proposed controller not only enables the system to keep robust stabilization but also achieves the given H∞ performance.A simulation experiment shows that the proposed method is effective.

Abstract:This paper proposes a new quadratic stability condition and H∞ control designing for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy control systems. Firstly, new stability sufficient condition in the format of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) is obtained by relaxing the stability condition derived in previous paper. It guarantees the existence of the state feedback H∞ control. Secondly, the paper addresses the H∞ controller designing, and the H∞ controller can be considered by solving a set of suitable LMIs. Finally, the validity and applicability of the proposed approach are successfully demonstrated through numerical simulations for the continuous-time nonlinear system.

Abstract:This paper addresses the H∞ control problem via slow state variables feedback for discrete-time fuzzy singularly perturbed systems. At first, a method of evaluating the upper bound of singular perturbation parameter ϵ with meeting a prescribed H∞ performance bound requirement is given. Subsequently, two methods for designing H∞ controllers via slow state variables feedback are presented in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). In particular, one of them can be used to improve the upper bound of the singular perturbation parameter ϵ. Finally, two numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

Abstract:This paper examines the problem of robust H∞ static output feedback control of a Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy system. The proposed robust H∞ static output feedback controller guarantees the L2 gain of the mapping from the exogenous disturbances to the regulated output to be less than or equal to a prescribed level. The existence of a robust H∞ static output feedback control is given in terms of the solvability of bilinear matrix inequalities. An iterative algorithm based on the linear matrix inequality is developed to compute robust H∞ static output feedback gains. To reduce the conservatism of the design, the structural information of membership function characteristics is incorporated. A numerical example is used to illustrate the validity of the design methodologies.
