Abstract:This paper undertakes a thorough investigation of matrix means interpolation and comparison. We expand the parameter $\vartheta$ beyond the closed interval $[0,1]$ to cover the entire positive real line, denoted as $\mathbb{R}^+$. Furthermore, we explore additional outcomes related to Heinz means. We introduce new scalar adaptations of Heinz inequalities, incorporating Kantorovich's constant, and enhance the operator version. Finally, we unveil refined Young's type inequalities designed specifically for traces, determinants, and norms of positive semi-definite matrices.

Abstract:In this paper, we obtain two refinements of the ordering relations among Heinz means with different parameters via the Taylor series of some hyperbolic functions and by the way, we derive new generalizations of Heinz operator inequalities. Moreover, we establish a matrix version of Heinz inequality for the Hilbert-Schmidt norm. Finally, we introduce a weighted multivariate geometric mean and show that the weighted multivariate operator geometric mean possess several attractive properties and means inequalities.

This result generalizes the results in \cite{ONIR} and gives an affirmative answer to a conjecture in \cite{OACRT} for all $s\geq2$ and for all $p>0$ and $r\geq1$ such that $rp\geq1$ and $t=\frac{1}{2}$. This result also leads directly to Dinh, Ahsani, and Tam's conjecture in \cite{GAI} and proves Audenaert's result in \cite{ANIFP}.

Abstract:In this paper, we present some weighted Hölder-type inequalities for N −tuple of n×n complex matrices, with applications that include refined bounds for the norm of the sum of two matrices, the numerical radius of a matrix and the numerical radius for the product of two matrices. The relation with the existing literature will be discussed, where some results are proven to be improvements of celebrated results in the literature. Abstract:Several unitarily invariant norm inequalities and numerical radius inequalities for Hilbert space operators are studied. We investigate some necessary and sufficient conditions for the parallelism of two bounded operators. For a finite rank operator $A,$ it is shown that \begin{eqnarray*} \|A\|_{p} &\leq &\left(\textit{rank} \, A\right)^{1/{2p}} \|A\|_{2p} \,\, \leq \,\, \left(\textit{rank} \, A\right)^{{(2p-1)}/{2p^2}} \|A\|_{2p^2}, \quad \textit{for all $p\geq 1 $} \end{eqnarray*} where $\|\cdot\|_p$ is the Schatten $p$-norm. If $\{ \lambda_n(A) \}$ is a listing of all non-zero eigenvalues (with multiplicity) of a compact operator $A$, then we show that \begin{eqnarray*} \sum_{n} \left|\lambda_n(A)\right|^{p} &\leq& \frac12 \| A\|_{ p}^{ p} + \frac12 \| A^2\|_{p/2}^{p/2}, \quad \textit{for all $p\geq 2$} \end{eqnarray*} which improves the classical Weyl's inequality $\sum_{n} \left|\lambda_n(A)\right|^{p} \leq \| A\|_{ p}^{ p}$ [Proc. Nat. Acad. Sci. USA 1949]. For an $n\times n$ matrix $A$, we show that the function $p\to n^{-{1}/{p}}\|A\|_p$ is monotone increasing on $p\geq 1,$ complementing the well known decreasing nature of $p\to \|A\|_p.$ \indent As an application of these inequalities, we provide an upper bound for the sum of the absolute values of the zeros of a complex polynomial. As another application we provide a refined upper bound for the energy of a graph $G$, namely, $\mathcal{E}(G) \leq \sqrt{2m\left(\textit{rank Adj(G)} \right)},$ where $m$ is the number of edges, improving on a bound by McClelland in $1971$.

Abstract:We establish new upper bounds for the Berezin number and Berezin norm of operator matrices, which are refinements of existing bounds. Among other bounds, we prove that if A=[Aij] is an n×n operator matrix with Aij∈B(H) for i,j=1,2,...,n , then ‖A‖ber≤‖[‖Aij‖ber]‖ and ber(A)≤w([aij]), where aii=ber(Aii), aij=‖|Aij|+|Aji∗|‖ber1/2‖|Aji|+|Aij∗|‖ber1/2 if i < j and aij=0 if i > j . We also provide examples which illustrate these bounds for some concrete operators acting on the Hardy-Hilbert space.

Abstract:International Journal of Mathematics, Ahead of Print. Finding new bounds for norms and the numerical radius of certain matrix forms is a renowned topic that has attracted numerous researchers. In this paper, we show some new bounds for unitarily invariant norms and the numerical radius of certain matrix forms that involve products of matrices and sums of products. New arithmetic-geometric mean-type inequalities and a refinement of the celebrated Cauchy–Schwarz inequality are shown among the obtained results. Our results are compared with those in the literature through numerical examples and rigorous approaches.

Abstract:We describe recent work of Kim in <a class="link-https" data-arxiv-id="1210.5190" href="https://arxiv.org/abs/1210.5190">arXiv:1210.5190</a> to show that operator convex functions associated with quasi-entropies can be used to prove a large class of new matrix inequalities in the tri-partite and bi-partite setting by taking a judiciously chosen partial trace over all but one of the spaces. We give some additional examples in both settings. Furthermore, we observe that the equality conditions for all the new inequalities are essentially the same as those for strong subadditivity.

Abstract:The goal of this study is to develop numerous Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer (H–H–M)-type inequalities involving various fractional integral operators, including classical, Riemann–Liouville (R.L), k-Riemann–Liouville (k-R.L), and their generalized fractional integral operators. In addition, we establish a number of corresponding fractional integral inequalities for three-times differentiable convex functions that are connected to the right side of the H–H–M-type inequality. For these results, further remarks and observations are provided. Following that, a couple of graphical representations are shown to highlight the key findings of our study. Finally, some applications on special means are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of our inequalities.
