Abstract:For $n$ positive numbers ($a_k$, $1\leq k \leq n$), enhanced inequalities about the arithmetic mean ($A_n \equiv \frac{\sum_ka_k}{n}$) and the geometric mean ($G_n\equiv \sqrt[n]{\Pi_ka_k}$) are found if some numbers are known, namely, \begin{equation} \frac{G_n}{A_n} \leq (\frac{n-\sum_{k=1}^mr_k}{n-m})^{1-\frac{m}{n}}(\Pi_{k=1}^mr_k)^{\frac{1}{n}} \:, \nonumber \end{equation} if we know $a_k=A_nr_k$ ($1\leq k\leq m\leq n$) for instance, and \begin{equation} \frac{G_n}{A_n} \leq \frac{1}{(1-\frac{m}{n})\Pi_{k=1}^mr_k^{\frac{-1}{n-m}}+\frac{1}{n}\sum_{k=1}^mr_k} \: ,\nonumber \end{equation} if we know $a_k=G_nr_k$ ($1\leq k\leq m \leq n$) for instance. These bounds are better than those derived from S.~H.~Tung's work [1].

Abstract:In the current note, we investigate the mathematical relations among the weighted arithmetic mean-geometric mean (AM-GM) inequality, the Hölder inequality and the weighted power-mean inequality. Meanwhile, the proofs of mathematical equivalence among the weighted AM-GM inequality, the weighted power-mean inequality and the Hölder inequality are fully achieved. The new results are more generalized than those of previous studies.

This result generalizes the results in \cite{ONIR} and gives an affirmative answer to a conjecture in \cite{OACRT} for all $s\geq2$ and for all $p>0$ and $r\geq1$ such that $rp\geq1$ and $t=\frac{1}{2}$. This result also leads directly to Dinh, Ahsani, and Tam's conjecture in \cite{GAI} and proves Audenaert's result in \cite{ANIFP}.

Abstract:The main goal of this article is to present new inequalities for the spectral geometric mean $A\natural_t B$ of two positive definite operators $A, B$ on a Hilbert space. The obtained results complement many known inequalities for the geometric mean $A\sharp_t B$. In particular, explicit comparisons between $A\natural_t B$ and $A\sharp_t B$ are given, with applications towards Ando-type inequalities and Ando-Hiai inequalities for $A\natural_t B$ and some other consequences.

Abstract:This paper undertakes a thorough investigation of matrix means interpolation and comparison. We expand the parameter $\vartheta$ beyond the closed interval $[0,1]$ to cover the entire positive real line, denoted as $\mathbb{R}^+$. Furthermore, we explore additional outcomes related to Heinz means. We introduce new scalar adaptations of Heinz inequalities, incorporating Kantorovich's constant, and enhance the operator version. Finally, we unveil refined Young's type inequalities designed specifically for traces, determinants, and norms of positive semi-definite matrices.

Abstract:International Journal of Mathematics, Ahead of Print. Finding new bounds for norms and the numerical radius of certain matrix forms is a renowned topic that has attracted numerous researchers. In this paper, we show some new bounds for unitarily invariant norms and the numerical radius of certain matrix forms that involve products of matrices and sums of products. New arithmetic-geometric mean-type inequalities and a refinement of the celebrated Cauchy–Schwarz inequality are shown among the obtained results. Our results are compared with those in the literature through numerical examples and rigorous approaches.

Abstract:Recently, the spectral geometric mean has been studied by some papers. In this paper, we first estimate the Hölder-type inequality of the spectral geometric mean of positive invertible operators on the Hilbert space for all real order in terms of the generalized Kantorovich constant and show the relation between the weighted geometric mean and the spectral geometric one under the usual operator order. Moreover, we show their operator norm version. Next, in the matrix case, we show the log-majorization for the spectral geometric mean and their applications. Among others, we show the order relation among three quantum Tsallis relative entropies. Finally we give a new lower bound of the Tsallis relative entropy.

Abstract:A positive real interval, [a, b], can be partitioned into sub-intervals such that sub-interval widths divided by sub-interval "average" values remains constant. That both Arithmetic Mean and Geometric Mean "average" values produce constant ratios for the same log scale is the stated invariance proved in this short note. Abstract:In this paper, we present some weighted Hölder-type inequalities for N −tuple of n×n complex matrices, with applications that include refined bounds for the norm of the sum of two matrices, the numerical radius of a matrix and the numerical radius for the product of two matrices. The relation with the existing literature will be discussed, where some results are proven to be improvements of celebrated results in the literature. Further, numerical examples are given to support the significance of other results.
