Abstract:We study the elliptic C_n and BC_n Ruijsenaars-Schneider models which is elliptic generalization of system given in hep-th/0006004. The Lax pairs for these models are constructed by Hamiltonian reduction technology. We show that the spectral curves can be parameterized by the involutive integrals of motion for these models. Taking nonrelativistic limit and scaling limit, we verify that they lead to the systems corresponding to Calogero-Moser and Toda types.

Abstract:The Lax pair of the Ruijsenaars-Schneider model with interaction potential of trigonometric type based on D(n)Lie algebra is presented. We give a general form for the Lax pair and prove partial results for small n. Liouville integrability of the corresponding system follows a series of involutive Hamiltonians generated by the characteristic polynomial of the Lax matrix. The rational case appears as a natural degeneration and the non-relativistic limit exactly leads to the well-known Calogero-Moser system associated with D(n)Lie algebra.

Abstract:In this paper, we construct canonical action-angle variables for both the hyperbolic BC(n) Sutherland and the rational BC(n) Ruijsenaars-Schneider-van Diejen models with three independent coupling constants. As a byproduct of our symplectic reduction approach, we establish the action-angle duality between these many-particle systems. The presented dual reduction picture builds upon the construction of a Lax matrix for the BC(n)-type rational Ruijsennars-Schneider-van Diejen model.

Lax pair representations of the Elliptic RS and CM are reviewed. For n=2 case, the eigenvalue and eigenfunction for Lame equation are found by using the result of the Bethe ansatz method.

Abstract:Reviews in Mathematical Physics, Ahead of Print. In this paper, we study the factorization formulae for the Lax matrices of the classical Ruijsenaars–Schneider and Calogero–Moser models. We review the already known results and discuss their possible origins. The first origin comes from the IRF-Vertex relations and the properties of the intertwining matrices. The second origin is based on the Schlesinger transformations generated by modifications of underlying vector bundles. We show that both approaches provide explicit formulae for [math]-matrices of the integrable systems in terms of the intertwining matrices (and/or modification matrices). In the end, we discuss the Calogero–Moser models related to classical root systems. The factorization formulae are proposed for a number of special cases.

On the field analogue of elliptic spin Calogero-Moser model: Lax pair and equations of motion

Abstract:The Lax pair for the field analogue of the classical spin elliptic Calogero-Moser is proposed. Namely, using the previously known Lax matrix we suggest an ansatz for the accompany matrix. The presented construction is valid when the matrix of spin variables ${\mathcal S}\in{\rm Mat}(N,\mathbb C)$ satisfies the condition ${\mathcal S}^2=c_0{\mathcal S}$ with some constant $c_0\in\mathbb C$. It is proved that the Lax pair satisfies the Zakharov-Shabat equation with unwanted term, thus providing equations of motion on the unreduced phase space. The unwanted term vanishes after additional reduction. In the special case ${\rm rank}(\mathcal S)=1$ we show that the reduction provides the Lax pair of the spinless field Calogero-Moser model obtained earlier by Akhmetshin, Krichever and Volvovski.

Abstract:For the 1+1 dimensional Lax pair with a symplectic symmetry and cyclic symmetries, it is shown that there is a natural finite dimensional Hamiltonian system related to it by presenting a unified Lax matrix. The Liouville integrability of the derived finite dimensional Hamiltonian systems is proved in a unified way. Any solution of these Hamiltonian systems gives a solution of the original PDE. As an application, the two dimensional hyperbolic $C_n^{(1)}$ Toda equation is considered and the finite dimensional integrable Hamiltonian system related to it is obtained from the general results.

These Lax pairs can be of various sizes, matching the sizes of orbits in the reflection representation of W, and in the elliptic case they contain a spectral parameter. This way we reproduce universal classical Lax pairs by D’Hoker–Phong and Bordner–Corrigan–Sasaki, and complement them with quantum Lax pairs in all cases (including the elliptic case, where they were not previously known). The same method, with the Dunkl operators replaced by the Cherednik operators, produces quantum Lax pairs for the generalised Ruijsenaars systems for arbitrary root systems. As one of the main applications, we calculate a Lax matrix for the elliptic BCn case with nine coupling constants (van Diejen system), thus providing an answer to a long-standing open problem.

Abstract:Summary Kaup-Newell soliton hierarchy is derived from a kind of Lax pairs different from the original ones. A binary non-linearization procedure corresponding to the Bargmann symmetry constraint is carried out for those Lax pairs. The proposed Lax pairs together with adjoint Lax pairs are constrained as a hierarchy of commutative, finite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems in the Liouville sense, which also provides us with new examples of finite-dimensional integrable Hamiltonian systems. A sort of involutive solutions to the Kaup-Newell hierarchy are exhibited through the obtained finite-dimensional integrable systems and the general involutive system engendered by binary non-linearization is reduced to a specific involutive system generated by mono-non-linearization.

Abstract:We construct symmetric and exterior powers of the vector representation of the elliptic quantum groupsEΤ,η(slN). The corresponding transfer matrices give rise to various integrable difference equations which could be solved in principle by the nested Bethe ansatz method. In special cases we recover the Ruijsenaars systems of commuting difference operators.

Abstract:We show that the same algebraic data that permit to construct the Lax pair and the $r$-matrix of an integrable non-linear $\sigma$-model in $1+1$ dimensions can be also used for the construction of Lax pairs and of $r$-matrices of several other non-trivial integrable theories in $1+0$ dimension. We call those new integrable theories the point particle ${\cal E}$-models, we describe their structure and give their physical interpretation. We work out in detail the point particle ${\cal E}$-models associated to the bi-Yang-Baxter deformation of the $SU(N)$ principal chiral model. In particular, for each complex flag manifold we thus obtain a two-parameter family of integrable models living on it.

Abstract:In this paper we discuss a constructive approach to check whether a constant Hamiltonian is Yang-Baxter integrable. We then apply our method to long-range interactions and find the Lax operator and $R$-matrix of the two-loop SU(2) sector in N=4 SYM. We show that all known integrable long-range deformations of the 6-vertex models of this type can be obtained from a Lax operator and an $R$-matrix. Finally we discuss what happens at higher loops and highlight some general structures that these models seem to exhibit.

Abstract:Using a fermionic version of the Lax pair formulation, we construct an integrable small-polaron model with general open boundary conditions. The Lax pair and the boundary supermatrices $K_{\pm}$ for the model are obtained. This provides a direct proof of the integrability of the model.

Abstract:It is shown that the Zakharov-Mihailov (ZM) Lagrangian structure for integrable nonlinear equations derived from a general class of Lax pairs possesses a Lagrangian multiform structure. We show that, as a consequence of this multiform structure, we can formulate a variational principle for the Lax pair itself, a problem that to our knowledge was never previously considered. As an example, we present an integrable $N\times N$ matrix system that contains the AKNS hierarchy, and we exhibit the Lagrangian multiform structure of the scalar AKNS hierarchy by presenting the components corresponding to the first three flows of the hierarchy.

Abstract:We introduce spin Calogero-Moser systems associated with root systems of simple Lie algebras and give the associated Lax representations (with spectral parameter) and fundamental Poisson bracket relations. The associated integrable models (called integrable spin Calogero-Moser systems in the paper) and their Lax pairs are then obtained via Poisson reduction and gauge transformations. For Lie algebras of $A_{n}$-type, this new class of integrable systems includes the usual Calogero-Moser systems as subsystems. Our method is guided by a general framework which we develop here using dynamical Lie algebroids.

Abstract:In this paper we study the possible second order Lax operators for all possible (1+1)-dimensional models with Schwarzian forms. If the Schwarzian form of a (1+1)-dimensional model can be expressed by two known conformal invariants (invariant under the Mobius transformation), the model has a second order lax pair. The explicit Lax pairs for some (1+1)-dimensional are given. The conclusions are also extended to some (2+1)-dimensional equations.
