Abstract:All‐Solid‐State Batteries Emerging cathode materials (chocolate balls) are sometimes softer than solid electrolytes (metallic balls), leading to formation of unfavourable 'electrolyte‐in‐active material' microstructures. By strategically 'softening' solid electrolytes and 'hardening' redox materials, we show the relative hardness between electrolyte and active material can be reversed, promoting favourable 'active material‐in‐electrolyte' microstructure.
