Abstract:In the title compound, C(13)H(17)ClN(2)O, the piperidine ring adopts a chair conformation and the N atom in that ring is close to pyramidal (bond angle sum = 357.5°). In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into C(4) chains propagating in [010] by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds.

Abstract:In the title molecule, C18H11Cl3N2O2, the central benzene ring is oriented at 8.44 (12) and 70.57 (11)degrees with respect to the terminal chlorophenol and dichloropyridine rings, respectively. The molecular structure is stabilized by an intramolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bond, which generates an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, pi-pi stacking between parallel pyridine rings is observed [centroid-centroid distance = 3.6561 (14) angstrom].

The dihedral angle between the fluorophenyl ring and the four planar C atoms (r.m.s. = 0.0055 angstrom) of the piperazine chair is 78.27 (7)degrees, whereas the dihedral angle between the four planar C atoms of the piperazine chair and the ethanone plane is 55.21 (9) angstrom; the Cl atom displaced by 1.589 (2) angstrom out of the plane.

Abstract:In the title compound, C14H16ClNO2, the cyclo-hexyl ring has a chair conformation. The dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the mean plane of the four planar C atoms of the cyclo-hexyl ring is 45.2 (3)°. The two carbonyl groups are trans to one another, with an O=C-C=O torsion angle of -137.1 (3)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds forming chains propagating along [001]. A region of disordered electron density, situated near the unit-cell corners, was treated using the SQUEEZE routine in PLATON [Spek (2009 ▶). Acta Cryst. D65, 148-155]. It gave a solvent-accessible void of ca 400 Å(3) for only 21 electrons. It is probably due to traces of the solvent of crystallization and was not taken into account during structure refinement.

Abstract:In the title compound, C27H35N3O2, one of the pentyl side chains is ordered and the other is highly disordered [the occupancies for the major and minor components are 0.52 (1) and 0.48 (1), respectively]. The dihedral angles between the mean planes of the central C3N2 ring and the pendant phenyl and methoxy-benzene rings are 88.30 (17) and 9.08 (17)°, respectively. Abstract:The title compound (C18H13ClF3N3O) were synthesized and recrystallized from CH3OH. The compound was characterized by H-1 NMR, MS, HRMS, and X-ray diffraction. The compound crystallized in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n with a = 8.2354 (14), b = 12.686 (2), c = 16.633 (3) angstrom, alpha = 90, beta = 97.951 (3), gamma = 90 degrees, V = 1721.0 (5) angstrom(3), Z = 4, and R = 0.0376 for 1933 observed reflections with I > 2 sigma(I). X-ray analysis reveals that intermolecular N-H center dot center dot center dot N interactions exist in the adjacent molecules. Theoretical calculation of the title compound was carried out with HF/6-31G (d,p), B3LYP/6-31G (d, p). The full geometry optimization was carried out using 6-31G (d, p) basis set and the frontier orbital energy. The optimized geometric bond lengths and bond angles obtained by using HF and DFT (B3LYP) showed the best agreement with the experimental data.
