Abstract:The method by McDuffis used to get the existence of the J-holomorphic sphere in some sympectic Manifolds and then the J-holomorphic sphere is perturbed to split a periodic solution of Hamiltonian systems in these sympletic manifolds. As a result, the Weinstein conjecture is proved in the asymptotically manifolds.

Abstract:In this paper we first study the moduli spaces related to Calabi-Yau manifolds. We then apply the results to the following problem. Let $C$ be a fixed Riemann surface with fixed finite number of points on it. Given a CY manifold with fixed topological type, we consider the set of all families of CY manifolds of the fixed topological type over $C$ with degenerate fibres over the fixed points up to isomorphism. This set is called Shafarevich set. The analogue of Shafarevich conjecture for CY manifolds is for which topological types of CY the Shafarevich set is finite. It is well-known that the analogue of Shafarevich conjecture is closely related to the study of the moduli space of polarized CY manifolds and the moduli space of the maps of fixed Riemann surface to the coarse moduli space of the CY manifolds. We prove the existence of the Teichmüller space of CY manifolds together with a universal family of marked CY manifolds. From this result we derive the existence of a finite cover of the coarse moduli space which is a non-singular quasi-projective manifold. Over this cover we construct a family of polarized CY manifolds. We study the moduli space of maps of the fixed Riemann with fixed points on it to the moduli space of CY manifolds constructed in the paper such that the maps map the fixed points on the Riemann surface to the discriminant locus. If this moduli space of maps is finite then Shafarevich conjecture holds. We relate the analogue of Shafarevich problem to the non-vanishing of the Yukawa coupling. We give also a counter example of the Shafarevich problem for a class of CY manifolds.

Abstract: We prove that the period map from the Torelli space of Calabi--Yau type manifolds to the period domain of polarized Hodge structures is injective. The proof is based on the construction of holomorphic affine structure on the Teichm\"uller space and the construction of the completion space of the Torelli space with respect to the Hodge metric.

Abstract:In this article, we study the Hamiltonian dynamics on singular symplectic manifolds and prove the Arnold conjecture for a large class of -symplectic manifolds. Novel techniques are introduced to associate smooth symplectic forms to the original singular symplectic structure, under some mild conditions. These techniques yield the validity of the Arnold conjecture for singular symplectic manifolds across multiple scenarios. More precisely, we prove a lower bound on the number of 1-periodic Hamiltonian orbits for -symplectic manifolds depending only on the topology of the manifold. Moreover, for -symplectic surfaces, we improve the lower bound depending on the topology of the pair ( M , Z ). We then venture into the study of Floer homology to this singular realm and we conclude with a list of open questions.

Abstract:We prove that for any compact toric symplectic manifold, if a Hamiltonian diffeomorphism admits more fixed points, counted homologically, than the total Betti number, then it has infinitely many simple periodic points. This provides a vast generalization of Franks' famous two or infinity dichotomy for periodic orbits of area-preserving diffeomorphisms on the two-sphere, and establishes a conjecture attributed to Hofer-Zehnder in the case of toric manifolds. The key novelty is the application of gauged linear sigma model and its bulk deformations to the study of Hamiltonian dynamics of symplectic quotients.

Abstract:In this paper, we treat an open problem related to the number of periodic orbits of Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms on closed symplectic manifolds. Hofer-Zehnder conjecture states that a Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms has infinitely many periodic orbits if it has "homologically unnecessary periodic orbits"". For example, non-contractible periodic orbits are homologically unnecessary periodic orbits because Floer homology of non-contractible periodic orbits is trivial. We prove Hofer-Zehnder conjecture for non-contractible periodic orbits for very wide classes of symplectic manifolds.

Abstract:We apply Zhang's almost Kähler Nakai-Moishezon theorem and Li-Zhang's comparison of $J$-symplectic cones to establish a stability result for the symplectomorphism group of a rational $4$-manifold $M$ with Euler number up to $12$. As a corollary, we also derive a stability result for the space of embedded symplectic balls in $M$. A noteworthy feature of our approach is that we systematically explore various spaces and groups associated to a symplectic cohomology class $u$ rather than with a single symplectic form $\omega$. To this end, we prove a weaker version of the tamed $J$-inflation procedures of D. McDuff and O. Buse that fixes a gap in their original formulations.

Abstract:We prove that every Reeb flow on a closed connected three-manifold has either two or infinitely many simple periodic orbits, assuming that the associated contact structure has torsion first Chern class. As a special case, we prove a conjecture of Hofer-Wysocki-Zehnder published in 2003 asserting that a smooth and autonomous Hamiltonian flow on $\mathbb{R}^4$ has either two or infinitely many simple periodic orbits on any regular compact connected energy level that is transverse to the radial vector field. Other corollaries settle some old problems about Finsler metrics: we show that every Finsler metric on $S^2$ has either two or infinitely many prime closed geodesics; and we show that a Finsler metric on $S^2$ with at least one closed geodesic that is not irrationally elliptic must have infinitely many prime closed geodesics. The novelty of our work is that we do not make any nondegeneracy hypotheses.

Abstract:Stable Hamiltonian structures generalize contact forms and define a volume-preserving vector field known as the Reeb vector field. We study two aspects of Reeb vector fields defined by stable Hamiltonian structures on 3-manifolds: on one hand, we classify all the examples with finitely many periodic orbits under a non-degeneracy condition; on the other, we give sufficient conditions for the existence of a supporting broken book decomposition and for the existence of a Birkhoff section.

Abstract:We study sequences of immersions respecting bounds coming from Riemannian geometry and apply the ensuing results to the study of sequences of submanifolds of symplectic and contact manifolds. This allows us to study the subtle interaction between the Hausdorff metric and the Lagrangian Hofer and spectral metrics. In the process, we get proofs of metric versions of the nearby Lagrangian conjecture and of the Viterbo conjecture on the spectral norm. We also get $C^0$-rigidity results for a vast class of important submanifolds of symplectic and contact manifolds in the presence of Riemannian bounds. Likewise, we get a Lagrangian generalization of results of Hofer and Viterbo on simultaneous $C^0$ and Hofer/spectral limits~ -- ~even without any such bounds.

The Geometry of Three-Forms on Symplectic Six-Manifolds

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the geometries associated with 3-forms of various orbital types on a symplectic 6-manifold. We show that there are extremely rich geometric structures attached to certain unstable 3-forms arising naturally from degeneration of Calabi-Yau structures, which in turn provides us a new perspective towards the SYZ conjecture. We give concrete examples and demonstrate that the limiting behavior of the Type IIA flow can be used to detect canonical geometric structures on symplectic manifolds.

On non-contractible hyperbolic periodic orbits and periodic points of symplectomorphisms

Abstract:We prove the existence of infinitely many periodic points of symplectomorphisms isotopic to the identity if they admit at least one (non-contractible) hyperbolic periodic orbit and satisfy some condition on its flux. The obtained periodic points correspond to periodic orbits whose free homotopy classes are formed by iterations of the hyperbolic periodic orbit. Our result is proved for a certain class of closed symplectic manifolds and the main tool we use is a variation of Floer theory for non-contractible periodic orbits and symplectomorphisms, the Floer-Novikov theory. For a certain class of symplectic manifolds, the theorem generalizes the main results proved for Hamiltonian diffeomorphisms in GG14 and for symplectomorphisms and contractible orbits in Ba15.

On the set of asymptotic homologies of orbits on invariant Lagrangian graphs

Abstract:Given a smooth Tonelli Hamiltonian on the torus $\mathbb{T}^{n}$ and a $C^{2}$ Lagrangian graph $W \subset T^{*}\mathbb{T}^{n}$ that is invariant under the Hamiltonian flow and contained within a Mañé supercritical energy level, we demonstrate the existence of a proper cone in the first real homology group $H_1(\mathbb{T}^n,\mathbb{R})$ that contains the asymptotic homologies of the canonical projections of recurrent orbits in $W$. Additionally, for invariant Lagrangian graphs on $\mathbb{T}^{3}$, drawing on Franks' theory of the rotation set of homeomorphisms of $\mathbb{T}^{2}$ homotopic to the identity, we show that under certain assumptions for an invariant Lagrangian graph on $\mathbb{T}^{3}$, if there exists a rational vector in homology contained in the set of asymptotic homologies of orbits on the Lagrangian graph, then the graph contains a Mather measure supported on a periodic orbit. This result generalizes a well-known fact for Lagrangian graphs on $\mathbb{T}^{2}$. Finally, we exploit these results for three dimensional tori to give a partial answer to a conjecture by Carneiro-Ruggiero about the non-existence of Hedlund Lagrangian tori at supercritical energy levels.

Symplectomorphisms of some Weinstein 4-manifolds

Abstract:Let M be a Weinstein four-manifold mirror to Y\D for (Y,D) a log Calabi--Yau surface; intuitively, this is typically the Milnor fibre of a smoothing of a cusp singularity. We introduce two families of symplectomorphisms of M: Lagrangian translations, which we prove are mirror to tensors with line bundles; and nodal slide recombinations, which we prove are mirror to automorphisms of (Y,D). The proof uses a detailed compatibility between the homological and SYZ view-points on mirror symmetry. Together with spherical twists, these symplectomorphisms are expected to generate all autoequivalences of the wrapped Fukaya category of M which are compactly supported in a categorical sense. A range of applications is given.
