Abstract:In the title compound, C(12)H(14)N(2)OS, the 1,3-thia-zinane ring displays a screw-boat conformation. In the crystal, pairs of centrosymmetrically related mol-ecules are linked by pairs of N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into dimers. C-H⋯π inter-actions occur between adjacent dimers.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(8)H(5)NOS(2), the non-H atoms are approximately coplanar [maxium deviation = 0.060 (3) Å]. The dihedral angle between the least-squares planes of the pyridine and 1,3-dithiol-2-one rings is 5.96 (17)°. The crystal packing is stabilized by weak inter-molecular C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds and by an S⋯S close contact [3.510 (5) Å].

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, C6H8N4S22+.-2C(6)H(7)N(4)S(2)(+.)4C(7)H(4)NO(4)(-), comprises diprotonated diaminobithiazole (DABT) dications located on inversion centers, monoprotonated DABT cations and nitrobenzoate anions. The relatively short C - N( amino) bond distances, ranging from 1.310 (2) to 1.350 (2) angstrom, indicate electron delocalization between the amino groups and thiazole rings. Intermolecular N - H (...) O and N - H (...) N hydrogen bonds stabilize the crystal packing.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, [Zn(C6H4NO2)(C6H6N4S2)(H2O)(3)](2)(C6H4NO2)(2)center dot[Zn(C6H4NO2)(2)(C6H6N4S2)(H2O)(2)]center dot 4H(2)O, consists of four discrete components. In the neutral complex the Zn ion is located on a crystallographic twofold axis. The two thiazole rings of the diaminobithiazole ligand are twisted with respect to each other [dihedral angle = 13.85 (9)degrees] in the neutral complex but are coplanar [dihedral angle = 3.54 (15)degrees] in the cationic complex. pi-pi stacking is observed between nearly parallel pyridine rings.

Abstract:In the title compound, C18H13ClN2OS, the thiazolidinone ring is slightly distorted and adopts a envelope conformation. The basal plane is nearly perpendicular to the quinoline ring, forming a dihedral angle of 86.1 (1)degrees, and makes a dihedral angle of 14.9 (1)degrees to the benzene ring.
