Abstract:In the title compound, C(30)H(38)O(4)S(2), the centroid of the benzene ring lies on a center of inversion. The thiophene ring is aligned at 49.8 (1)degrees with respect to the benzene ring. The alkyl chain adopts an extended zigzag conformation.

Abstract:The title compound, C24H32O8S center dot C3H6O, features three six-membered and two five-membered rings. The six-membered rings adopt chair, boat and slightly distorted boat conformations whereas one five-membered ring adopts an approximate envelope conformation and the other a twist conformation. Disorder was modelled for the ethylthio group with the ethyl-C atoms resolved over three positions with occupancies of 0.58 (4), 0.23 (4) and 0.19 (3). In the crystal, an O-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bond links the molecules into chains.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(16)H(12)N(2)S(4), which is the result of the S-alkylation reaction of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole with ethylene dibromide, the planes of the two benzothiazole moieties form a dihedral angle of 3.84 (14) degrees. Abstract:The title compound, C(20)H(12)N(2)S(2), was prepared by the reaction of o-phthalic acid and 2-amino-thio-phenol under microwave irradation. The phenyl ring, A, and the benzothia-zolyl rings, B and C, are planar; the dihedral angles are A/B = 19.9 (11), A/C = 87.8 (3) and B/C = 84.4 (4)°. Abstract:The title compound, C30H26O4, is a dimer of 6,6'-dimethyldibenzo[d,f][1,3]dioxepine linked by formation of a C-C bond in the para position with respect to one O atom. The dimer is arranged around an inversion centre. As is usually observed in related compounds, the dibenzo group is twisted, the two benzene rings making a dihedral angle of 41.56 (9)degrees. The seven-membered ring exhibits a twisted conformation.
