Abstract:In this paper, one-dimensional (1D) nonlinear Schrodinger equationiu(t) - u(xx) + vertical bar u vertical bar(2p) u = 0, p epsilon N,with periodic boundary conditions is considered. It is proved that the above equation admits small-amplitude quasi-periodic solutions corresponding to 2-dimensional invariant tori of an associated infinite-dimensional dynamical system. Abstract:This paper is concerned with the fractional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with periodic boundary conditions (0.1) iut+−Δs0u+−Δr0f(|u|2)u=0,x∈T≔R/2πZ, where s0∈(1/2,1) , r0∈[0,s0−1/2] and f is a real analytic function in some neighborhood of the origin in C . The above equation (0.1) is reversible with respect to the involution G:(u,ū)↦(ū,u) . By the KAM (Kolmogorov–Arnold–Moser) theorem for an infinite dimensional reversible system with unbounded perturbation, we obtain that there exists Cantor families of quasi-periodic solutions of small amplitude to equation (0.1).

Abstract:In this paper, complex Ginzburg-Landau (CGL) equations governed by p-Laplacian are studied. We discuss the global existence of solutions for the initial-boundary value problem of the equation in general domains. The global solvability of the initial-boundary value problem for the case when $p = 2$ is already examined by several authors provided that parameters appearing in CGL equations satisfy a suitable condition. Our approach to CGL equations is based on the theory of parabolic equations with non-monotone perturbations. By using this method together with some approximate procedure and a diagonal argument, the global solvability is shown without assuming any growth conditions on the nonlinear terms.

Abstract:We reformulate the one-dimensional complex Ginzburg-Landau equation as a fourth order ordinary differential equation in order to find stationary spatially-periodic solutions. Using this formalism, we prove the existence and stability of stationary modulated-amplitude wave solutions. Approximate analytic expressions and a comparison with numerics are given.

Abstract:Using the inverse period map of the Gauss-Manin connection associated with $QH^{*}(\mathbb{CP}^2)$ and the Dubrovin construction of Landau-Ginzburg superpotential for Dubrovin Frobenius manifolds, we construct a one-dimensional Landau-Ginzburg superpotential for the quantum cohomology of $\mathbb{CP}^2$. In the case of small quantum cohomology, the Landau-Ginzburg superpotential is expressed in terms of the cubic root of the j-invariant function. For big quantum cohomology, the one-dimensional Landau-Ginzburg superpotential is given by Taylor series expansions whose coefficients are expressed in terms of quasi-modular forms. Furthermore, we express the Landau-Ginzburg superpotential for both small and big quantum cohomology of $QH^{*}(\mathbb{CP}^2)$ in closed form as the composition of the Weierstrass $\wp$-function and the universal coverings of $\mathbb{C} \setminus (\mathbb{Z} \oplus e^{\frac{\pi i}{3}}\mathbb{Z})$ and $\mathbb{C} \setminus (\mathbb{Z} \oplus z\mathbb{Z})$ respectively.

Abstract:For both cubic and quintic nonlinearities of the one-dimensional complex Ginzburg-Landau evolution equation, we prove by a theorem of Eremenko the finiteness of the number of traveling waves whose squared modulus has only poles in the complex plane, and we provide all their closed form expressions. Among these eleven solutions, five are provided by the method used. This allows us to complete the list of solutions previously obtained by other authors.
