Abstract:The Ni-II atom in the crystal structure of the title compound, [NiCl2(C6H6N4S2)(2)].2H(2)O, has a distorted cis-octahedral coordination, formed by two Cl atoms [Ni-Cl 2.4767 (17) and 2.4922 (17) Angstrom] and four N atoms of two chelate bithiazole ligands [Ni-N 2.069 (5)-2.138 (5) Angstrom]. The overlapped arrangement and short separation between parallel thiazole rings belonging to neighbouring complexes [3.47 (3) Angstrom] suggest the existence of pi-pi stacking interactions. Short intermolecular S...S contacts [3.183 (3) Angstrom] are also observed. The water molecules are involved in hydrogen bonds with the Cl ligands.

Abstract:In the crystal structure of the title compound, [Na4Ni(C8H3O7S)2(H2O)12]n, the NiII cation occupies an inversion centre and is coordinated by the carboxyl groups of the sulfoisophthalate trianions and water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. Two independent NaI atoms are connected by the carboxyl and sulfonate groups of the sulfoisophthalate ligands anions and water molecules in a distorted octahedral geometry. The sulfoisophthalate ligands and coordinated water molecules bridge the NiII and NaI cations, forming a three-dimensional polymeric structure. Weak π–π stacking is present between parallel benzene rings [centroid–centroid distance = 3.9349 (10) Å]. Extensive O—H...O and C—H...O hydrogen bonding helps to stabilize the crystal structure.

Abstract:The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C(3)H(4)N(2))(6)][Ni(C(3)H(4)N(2))(3)(H(2)O)(3)](C(12)H(6)O(4))(2), contains uncoordinated naphthalene-dicarboxyl-ate dianions and two kinds of Ni(II) complex cations, both assuming distorted octa-hedral geometries. One Ni(II) ion is located on an inversion center and is coordinated by six imidazole mol-ecules, while the other Ni(II) ion is located on a twofold rotation axis and is coordinated by three water mol-ecules and three imidazole mol-ecules in a mer-NiN(3)O(3) arrangement. The naphthalene-dicarboxyl-ate dianion links both Ni(II) complex cations via O-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding, but no π-π stacking is observed between aromatic rings in the crystal structure. One imidazole ligand is equally disordered over two sites about a twofold rotation axis; one N atom and one water O atom have site symmetry 2.

Abstract:C 22 H 20 N 2 NiO 7 ,monoclinic, P2 1 /n (no.14), a =7.2062( 5 Source of materialAm ixed solution of 2,3-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid (H 2L, 0.05 .mmol), 2,2'-bipyridine (bipy, 0.05 mmol), Ni(ClO 4 ) 2. • .6H 2 O (0.1 .mmol) in the presence of excess 2,6-dimethylpyridine (ca.0.05 mL for adjusting the pH value to the basic condition) in CH 3 OH (10 mL) was stirred for 10 min, and then filtered after heating up.The resulting solution was kept at room temperature.After about two weeks, green single crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction analysis were obtained by slow evaporation of the solvent with ayield of 30 %.

Abstract:In the title compound, (C7H7N2S)(2)[Ni(C8H8O5)(2)]center dot 6H(2)O, the Ni-II cation is located on an inversion center and is O,O',O ''-chelated by two symmetry-related 7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1] heptane-2,3-dicarboxylate anions in a distorted octahedral geometry. The 2-aminobenzothiazol-3-ium cation links with the Ni complex anion via N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonding. Extensive O-H center dot center dot center dot O and N-H center dot center dot center dot O hydrogen bonds involving the lattice water molecules also occur in the crystal structure.
