Abstract:A new species of the genus Nilothauma Kieffer, N. pandum sp. n., is described, and its morphological descriptions and illustrations are also given. A key to the males of Nilothauma is given. The adult male of N. pandum sp. n. can be distinguished from known species of the genus by the following combination of characters: anal point very broadly lanceolate with microtrichia in median ridge and apical margin, rounded at apex; superior volsella pad-like, expanded distally; median volsella curved, rounded at apex, with 2 long basal setae and 1 long median seta.

Abstract:Two new species of the genus Mongolotettix Rehn, 1928 from China, i.e. Mongolotettix wulingyuanensis sp. nov. and Mongolotettix. shaanxiensis sp. nov. are described herein. M. wulingyuanensis sp. nov. is similar to M. angustiseptus Wan, Ren & Zhang, 1998, but differs from the latter by body larger, length of body ♂ 25.6 mm, ♀ 39.1mm; tegmina of male without a white stripe on the fore margin at base; subgenital plate of male conical, sides concave, apex acute; both outer sides of epiphallus without acute projection in the middle. M. shaanxiensis sp. nov. is similar to M. anomopterus (Caudell, 1921), but differs from the latter by tegmina of male longer, reaching the end of epiproct, without a white stripe on the fore margin at base, tegmina of female longer, reaching the middle of 2nd abdominal tergum, width of epiphallus larger than height, upper ovipositor valve slender, length 3.8 times its maximum width. A key to all nine known species of the genus from China is given. Type specimens are deposited in the Northwest Plateau Institute of Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xining, 810001, China.

Abstract:Microtendipes globosus sp. nov. (Diptera: Chironomidae) from Xishan Island, China is described and illustrated from a male imago. The new species is characterized by a spherical median volsella with 9-10 long setae, the basal lobe of the superior volsella with 10-12 setae, tergite IX without median seta, and the absence of pigment marks on the wings. An identification key to the males belonging to the genus Microtendipes in China is provided.

Abstract:Two new species i.e.: Humphaplotropis xiai sp. nov. and Humphaplotropis hebeiensis sp. nov. of the genus Humphaplotropis Xiao, Yin et Yin, 2013, are described from Hebei and Jiangsu, China in this paper. The new species Humphaplotropis xiai sp. nov. differs all known species of the genus by the abdomen like sawtooth in lateral view. The new species Humphaplotropis hebeiensis sp. nov. is similar to Humphaplotropis culaishanensis Lin, Cao et Yin, 2014, but differs from the latter by: lateral carinae of frontal ridge parallel; anterior margin of pronotum with acute angular in the middle, the apex reaching the hind margin of eyes; tegmina wider, cover 4/5 tympanum. Hind tibia yellow brown on upper side; epiphallus with 44 spikes, ancorae oblique inward distinctly, both posterior projections shorter than median projection. Type specimens are deposited in the Shanghai Entomological Museum, C.A.S., Shanghai and Natural Museum of Hebei University, Baoding, Hebei China respectively.

Abstract:The genus Aalatettix Zheng & Mao, 2002 (Orthoptera, Tetrigoidea, Tetrigidae) contains 9 valid species in China (Zheng & Mao, 2002; Zheng, Cao & Chen, 2011; Zheng, Lin & Zhang, 2013; Zheng, 2014a; Zheng, 2014b; Zheng & Lin, 2015; Zheng, Shi & Yin, 2015). During the identification of pygmy grasshopper specimens collected from Taiwan, China in 1998, a new species of the genus Aalatettix Zheng & Mao, 2002 was found and described below. A key to all known species of the genus is given in this paper. The type specimens are deposited in the National Museum of Natural Science, Taichung, Taiwan, China.

Abstract:Three new species of the lace bug genus Physatocheila Fieber, 1844 (Heteroptera: Tingidae) from China (Sichuan and Yunnan provinces) are described: Ph. explanata sp. nov., Ph. angusta sp. nov., and Ph. potanini sp. nov. A new subspecies Ph. miyatakei latiuscula subsp. nov. is described from China (Sichuan Province) and the southern part of the Primorskiy Territory, the Far East of Russia. A key for the identification of Physatocheila species of the Russian fauna, including the new taxa, is presented. The distributions of all species are briefly summarised in the key. The species discussed herein are provided with original photographs.

Abstract:Two new species of the genus Aalatettix Zheng & Mao, 2002, namely Aalatettix yangi sp. nov. and Aalatettix xiai sp. nov. are described and illustrated. The new species Aalatettix yangi sp. nov. is allied to Aalatettix gibbosa Zheng, Cao & Chen, 2011, but upper margin of pronotum waved in lateral view, width of frontal ridge narrower than width of basal joint of antennae, hind tibiae dark brown, base not pale. The new species Aalatettix xiai sp. nov. is allied to Aalatettix yangi sp. nov., but length of pronotum shorter, not reaching epiproct, width of vertex 1.5 times diameter of eye, lateral carinae of pronotum contracted backward distinctly, posterior apex of lower margin angular on lateral lobe of pronotum, lower margin of median femur waved, antennae placed under lower margin of eyes. The type specimens are deposited in the National Museum of Natural Science, Taichung, Taiwan, China.

Abstract:A new genus and species of the family Angarosphecidae, Decasphex cretacicus gen. et sp. nov., from the mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber is described and illustrated. The new genus and species is most similar to Burmasphex Melo et Rosa, 2018 and can be easily distinguished in having female antenna 10-segmented (vs. 12-segmented), mesosoma more elongate, forewing with cell 2cua lower, and metasomal segments 1–3 not separated with deep constrictions. Ten-segmented female antenna is a novel morphotype example of the morphological diversity of Apoidea. A key to genera of the Angarosphecidae is provided.

Abstract:Two species of the long-legged sac spider genus Cheiracanthium C. L. Koch, 1839 collected from China are diagnosed and described as new to science: Cheiracanthium bannaensis sp. nov. (♂♀) from Yunnan Province and C. bifurcatum sp. nov. (♂♀) from Xinjiang Uyger Autonomous Region. Photos of the habitus and copulatory organs are given.
