Abstract:To improve the efficiency and quality of complex product manufacturing such as aircraft,the pattern of intelligent manufacturing driven by complete three-dimensional (3D) model was proposed from the viewpoints of production data and manufacturing knowledge.The digital definition,transfer and control mode of complete 3D design and manufacturing model were proposed.The complete 3D design model was defined for manufacturing to drive the manufacturing process efficiently.The model content was extended and collaborative design was performed to promote its applicability and adaptability to manufacturing separately.The complete 3D manufacturing model oriented to process chain was defined to drive the fabrication and assembly precisely.By taking the deformation into consideration,the model of workpiece together with the model for processing were defined to enhance the manufacturing efficiency and precision.The mode of knowledge representation,management and integrated application was established.The systematic modeling method was used to classify and retain process domain knowledge from diverse carriers,and maturity-controlled transforming mode of production data into knowledge was presented to enlarge the organization knowledge in screw-type.Multi-granularity knowledge inferring mode was given to improve the efficiency and accuracy of model design,and XML-based geometrical information exchange was used to integrate the intelligent deign software tools and computer-aided systems to design model and parameters of complex shape parts rapidly and accurately.The pattern mentioned above was verified through aircraft frame part manufacturing based on enabling intelligent technologies development,the accuracy was improved significantly and the manufacturing cycle was reduced greatly.By using this pattern,the intelligent manufacturing system for different kinds of aircraft components could be developed successfully to accelerate the manufacturing pattern transformation from experience-dependent trial-error manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing with high efficiency and quality.
