Abstract:As the multiple frequency bands and variable period linear frequency modulated radar waveform is widely proposed to identify the multi-target of collision avoidance radar, a data-domain based multi-target detection method for collision avoidance radar was proposed. Theoretic derivation and computer simulation results show that the false alarms brought out by the multi-target may be avoided in some degree using this algorithm, and the measuring precision of distance and velocity of the target can be improved. The algorithm is effective in multi-target detection and eliminating the false alarms for collision avoidance radar.
