Integration Chain Model Based on Information Resource Capacity

Abstract:To provide guidance to business process integration,an integration chain model based on information resource capacity was presented.In this model,the information resource capacity was the main constraint of integration point definition and integration chain modeling,and the capacity balance between the capacity requirement of the integration point and the existing information resource capacity was the prerequisite to define integration point.To achieve the capacity balance,based on the assumption of the negative correlation between the integration point granularity and the capacity requirement,through expanding the integration point granularity,the capacity requirement was reduced and the capacity was balanced.Meanwhile based on analysis of the information resource capacity,a process model construction integration chain was presented.The proposed models and methods could be applied in the process integration of enterprises and was verified by a case study.
