Abstract:Demand side management (DSM) is very important for integrated resource planning and power market. In order to meet the need of load equilibrium, and to achieve effective results considering not only executive factors but also economic factors, a new model is presented which puts all the DSM measures into 4 basic types based on the number and the feature of DSM decision-making variables. Then, considering the actual requirement of DSM, a kind of DSM flexible load management model is proposed, which is used to spirit up consumers to avoid peak-consuming. In the algorithm, the author brings the consumer's desire into account, at the same time; consumers' priority-rank is evaluated. At last, case study is used to test the proposed models and algorithms, the results proved that the models and algorithms are effective. (7 pages)
