Supply Chain Forecasting System of Pulp and Paper Mills Based on MAS

Abstract:Forecasting in complex supply chain management is studied in this paper. At first, the forecasting system architecture including suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and consumers is designed based on multi-agent system(MAS)technique. Then several agent objects and information exchange formats are defined. Finally the software system is developed. The forecasting system provides good support to supply chain management of pulp and paper mills in planning, agility improving and cost reducing.
