Supply chain performance evaluation system for mass customization

Abstract:A supply chain performance evaluation system for mass customization (SCPESMC) was proposed to measure and monitor the running status of supply chain. The supply chain for mass customization is response-type, stresses on the unification of agility and benefit, and customers are fully integrated into the business process. The supply chain performance was evaluated in terms of supply chain collaboration degree, customer satisfaction degree and supply chain benefit. Then the SCPESMC was built through analyzing the requirements of SCPESMC, such as integration, data consistency, exceptional things' supervising and controlling. The logistic process and architecture of SCPESMC were given, including data integration layer, performance control layer, work flow layer and exception resolving layer. The performance evaluation system was successfully employed in a certain apparel company, and the evaluating and controlling of the supply chain for mass customization were effectively realized.
