Abstract:The title compound [systematic name: 1-(7-isopropyl-1,4a-dimethyl-1,2,3,4,4a,9,10,10a-octahydrophenanthren-1-ylmeth- yl)-4,5-diphenyl-1H-imidazole], C35H40N2, was obtained via the one-pot three-component condensation of benzil, formaldehyde and dehydroabietylamine, which is a fungal toxin. The two substituent phenyl groups and the imidazole ring form a conjugated system. The dihedral angles between the imidazole ring and the phenyl rings are 70.18 (9) and 12.77 (12)degrees. In the crystal structure, there are one intramolecular and two intermolecular hydrogen-bonding C-H center dot center dot center dot pi contacts. Furthermore, a weak C-H center dot center dot center dot N intramolecular hydrogen bond is observed.

Abstract:In the title compound, C(29)H(27)N(3)O(5), a dibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepine derivative, the cyclo-hexane ring adopts a chair conformation, the oxazepine seven-membered ring has a twist-boat conformation, and the piperidin-2-one ring assumes a flattened boat conformation. Inter-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonding between imino and nitro groups links two mol-ecules into a centrosymmetric dimer.

Abstract:The title compound, C(24)H(22)N(2)O(2), was prepared by condensation of 1,2-bis-(4-ethoxy-phen-yl)ethane-1,2-dione and 1,2-diamino-benzene. The asymmetric unit contains one half-mol-ecule, close to a twofold axis. The plane of the quinoxaline ring is twisted with respect to the planes of the two ethoxy-phenyl ring systems, exhibiting dihedral angles of 39.95 (9)°. The crystal packing is dominated by weak C-H⋯π inter-actions. No classical hydrogen bonds or stacking inter-actions are observed.

Abstract:The title compound, C19H17N3O3S, was synthesized via the reaction of 2-(4,6-dimethoxypyrimidin-2-ylsulfanyl) benzoic acid and aniline in dichloromethane using dicyclohexylcarbodiimide as catalyst.
