Abstract:During operation of an agile virtual enterprise with independent enterprise units, the data transfer between units occurs in many formats so data is not easily shared. Two methods of realizing multi enterprise query, namely the unition mapped database method and the map dictionary method were suggested, and the advantages and disadvantages were analyzed. Classification of enterprise product data models was used to propose a method to exchange model data between two enterprises in the mapping dictionary method. The multi enterprise query process was implemented in a Windows NT environment. The implementation of multi enterprise query technology gives a powerful support tool for other application systems of an agile virtual enterprise.
