Abstract:China's petroleum and chemical industries had developed by finishing the assignments assigned in the beginning of the year with the Reformation deepened in 1999. All goals were gotten throughout, and running conditions became better markedly. The outputs of primary chemical products were controlled effectively, and the production increased smoothly. The primary goals finished in 1999 were as follows: the gross adjustment and controlling had been put in force; the market condition had gotten better largely; the lesser refineries had been put into order gradually; the torsion of deficit to profit had taken a beginning effect by the reformation in state enterprises furthered; tasks of standardization and chemical weapon forbiddance had attached importance; the exchange and cooperation of international economy and technology had improved more.
